[redacted] paid for an exterior car wash with a towel dry. Also, she paid $20 extra to have tar or tree sap removed from her... vehicle. I saw the vehicle while the work was performed and it was completed to my standard. A manager and a car detailer spent 30 minutes to remove the tar or tree sap. She then returned later that day and wanted all the rock chips and normal wear and tear on a used vehicle repaired and asked for a $20 refund. After a manager explained that the work was performed and that he could not issue a refund. She asked to speak to the owner and I told her the work was performed and the car wash was provided and that there was nothing more I could do. I explained that a body shop could repair the rock chips and fix her paint, but there was nothing a car wash could do to fix the rock chips. I explained this was normal wear and tear on the exterior of a used vehicle. She wants my business to pay for a new paint job when there was nothing we did to cause this damage claim. These are not from rocks and they were (1) not there before going to the car wash and (2) fresh damage per a body shop I took my car to that day after the tar was removed wear and tear on a vehicle from rocks do not include the hood and top of the car, nor the door panelsThis would be understandable is they were at the bottom of my car only I have owned this vehicle about two months and had a couple inspections on this before it was bought No, it was not 100% perfect, but there is damage to my paint all over my car because of the chemical used as well as the digging to get these specks off my car If you would be kind enough to pull the camera footage, you will see that my car was not even washed after the "detail" which I have found out should have been done after the chemical was used You will see them spraying a blue solution on my paint which I was told was windex and asked them specifically not to use
I never asked for a new paint job, but damages to be fixed caused by this business
