Sparkle Dental is claiming that it is too late to FIX a mistake THEY made. Not once did they tell me about any policies regarding the time in which the work had to be done. Not once did they call me personally, they called my mother, who is NOT the paitent. I am. They failed to communicate with me personally to let me know what I had to do. I am 20 years old which means my mother is no longer responsible for my medical appointments. I need the work to be redone for free. I've had another crown in my mouth for six years now and it still has not broke. I got it done at another dentist. This shows me that sparkle dental is absolutley unprofessional. Review: In October of 2014, I had a crown placed on my tooth by a dentist at Sparkle Dental. Throughout the whole consultation process, the dentist was highly unprofessional and late to the actual appointment. On the day the crown was to be placed, some sort of unsafe gas exploded in the office and all patients and staff had to evacuate the building. Immediatley, I called my [redacted], my insurance provider, and explained that I felt unsafe with Sparkle Dental doing work in my mouth. My insurance stated that I needed to go ahead with the procedure due to the fact that my tooth fitting was already done in the lab but they promised to make a note of what occurred that day. First of all, the crown was very thin! My mom pointed this out to the doctor and she stated that "This is how we do it". Two weeks later, my crown broke on October [redacted], the day before Halloween. I was simply talking to a co worker when I heard my fixture crack. My mother called Sparkle Dental and they stated "Just come back in and we will re-do your tooth". Now, I was away at college, so I was unable to come back to [redacted] since that time. In December, I had to travel out of the country for school. My mother kept in constant contact with Sparkle Dental and she was told "whenever she is able to come back in we will re-do the procedure" And now, on June [redacted], 2015 when I am finally back from school, I called Sparkle Dental and they stated that since it's been 8 months I need to pay again to do my tooth over. It has not even been 8 months. If my tooth broke at the end of October, and it is now June [redacted], it has only been 6 months. The employee on the phone "[redacted]" kept on yelling on me "its your fault! it's your fault! so you need to pay again". They would not even let me speak to the dentist [redacted] who did the work in my mouth or a supervisor. The crown was not even covering my tooth completely, it was a thin sliver of porcelain that they put on top of the tooth. I am completely unsatisfied with Sparkle Dental.Desired Settlement: I would like them to re-do my crown or give me back the $500 I spent out-of-pocket for the crown and procedure.
