Sparkling Fresh Pools

Review: I hired Sparkling Fresh Pools- Garo Khacherian to do the following:

1.Demo existing wood fence and haul away 2. Excavate a 12" wide by 16" deep footing for the block wall. Install #3 rebar in the footing.Install #3 rebar vertical in the block wall 32" OC. Install #3 rebar at every third course.3. Form and place 2,500 PSI concrete in the footing. CMU blocks with vertical rebar will be grouted. Final course of block will be grouted. Construct 5'8" high colored CMU wall with a concrete cap. Install 40 square feet of interlocking concrete pavers, tie in 2 rain gutters downspouts to existing drainage. Fabricate a new iron gate per picture I provided. Estimated completion time to be 2 weeks written in the contract which was Sept 2014.

He broke the contract. Work has not been completed, I am missing 12.5 feet of my existing pavers that he pulled out in order to install the new block wall. He has not installed the 40 square feet of new pavers as per his contract. The contract wall height states 5'8 height and the actual is 5'2". Garo told me to sign a change order to make it 5"8" and we argued but he was not going to finish until I signed and paid him more money. Then in the change order the length in the change order is to be 26.5 feet and he only made it 26 feet in length. I also complained to him directly that he left cement stuck to my existing pavers and he showed up to clean it when I was not home and without telling me he was coming. The cement that was stuck to the pavers is gone for the most part but the color has now been altered to the pavers running along the wall fence. The color no longer matches the rest of my pavers throughout the back yard. It now has an orange color to them. My drain cap is also missing during construction. The damage to the wall where my old wood fence was has not be repaired as well. My pavers to my planters have not be replaced to original state.Desired Settlement: I would like to have all the damaged, missing pavers repaired and replaced. Complete installation of the remaining pavers, fix or replaced the damage pavers that now do not match the rest of my existing pavers due to the chemicals they used to clean the cement off the pavers that are running alongside the wall fence. Replace missing drain cap, replace any chipped or damaged cement caps with new. Also Refund my money for the change order in the amount of $206.25 because the wall on the right with the gate was not at 5'8" as according to his contract. I was forced to pay more to get the wall to the same matching height as the other wall to the left. Unless I paid him, he was going to leave it uneven. Change order states 26.5 feet but he only made it 26 feet long. I would like the entire wall with the gate to be the same height of 5'8" front to back of house.

Review: I requested for a new patio, concrete, bbq grill and firepit which will be permited in September 2013. He confirmed in writing that he will follow engineering and it has to pass inspections. He would also have a layout of the work which I never received. On Sept. 11, 2013 he confirmed he has Permit complete and approval for everything. The work was done in October 2013. I noticed there was a dark spot on my concrete and the color was not what I had picked on the tile. He said he would come back to take a look. I also asked for status of my permit and he said he was going to get it to me. I asked every month and in December he asked me to wait until after the holidays. In January I asked again and he said he will come over next week and if I was ready for my pool. I said I was but not until I got my permit and my concete fixed. The following week came by and no return call. In Feb. 2014 I said If I didn't hear from him he left me no choice but to email the Revdex.com. No response. I've paid the balance in full with either cash or cashier's check. He would write a receipt for my files.Desired Settlement: I am requesting the permit of the patio, concrete and firpit. I also need the concrete fixed and to match the color I choose. If this can't be done than my refund of $28,920.12 minus the BBQ grill and small refridgerator. I will need someone to redo the concrete as well as the patio and firepit.

Review: I engaged [redacted],President of Sparkling Fresh Pools to install artificial grass in my back lawn.He had been recommended to me by the owner of a whole sale company that sold artificial grass.He had assured me that he was capable of carrying out this project.The job was supposed to be completed in one week.

On day one,2 men came to remove the existing vegetation.After that,one man did the remaining work making an outer

4 foot border of stones,and preparing the surface for the grass.This was put in place by 2 men.The project was slated to cost $14,500.00.The lawn was 1,600 square feet.I gave Mr [redacted] $7,250.00 at the beginning of the work.At the end of two week the work was nearly completed.Mr [redacted] went on vacation for two weeks.In a matter of days,grass from the original lawn was growing through the artificial turf,and it looked as if I might have to mow this lawn.I alerted Mr [redacted] about this problem,and said that it looked as if it would have to be done all over again,as the initial removal of vegetation was totally inadequate.When I tried to reach him by phone,he was always busy,and he made no attempt to see the problem,and soon became incognito.I had to employ another company to start from scratch.Not only had Mr [redacted] not removed enough vegetation,but he had not made any attempt to use a weed killer,and plastic barrierDesired Settlement: I chose not to have Mr.[redacted] do a proper job,because I do not think that he has either the knowledge,the will,or the staff to do so.I doubt whether he is really qualified to install artificial grass.He is a very good friend of the whole seller,who genuinely believed his claims that he was skilled at this type of work.

I want to pay him only for the cost of the materials used.A refund of $ 2,000.00 is reasonable
