Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[When I went to pick my car up it was still running the same, and they gave me all kind of excuses why my car wasn't running correctly. After I got home and was going over my car I looked under the seat and found my brand new part that was to be installed. When I took my car in I only had the one part brand new and they came up with some other part and installed in my car. When I took my car back to the shop and showed them that I had the brand new part that they were to install in my hand and requested my money back. The receptionist call the mechanic and asked why he had not installed the new part he stated that he had gotten an old part mixed up with my new partThe receptionist said I could bring it back in and they would try to install it again, but I do not want to take my car back to them because I feel they were trying to steal my part, this part cost over $in the auto parts store and I paid $for it onlineI took my car to another shop and they can verity that I still have the brand new part and not the old one they installed. The receptionist admitted that they had not installed the new part and I would like a full refund from this auto repair shop.]

I want to apologize for the delay in our responseI would like to address the complaints posed by *** ***During the first week of March 2018, *** *** brought a BMW 325i to Spark Automotive stating that there was no heat and it was leaking anti-freeze*** had stated that
the vehicle was previously at another shop for the same reason and that they had replaced a water pump and a thermostat but after leaving that shop, she continued to have the same issuesWhen Spark Automotive diagnosed her vehicle, we found that her heater inlet pipe was cracked, her lower radiator hose with temperature sensor had a crack and that the vehicle had multiple suspension repairs that were neededSpark Automotive informed *** *** that we recommend replacing all of the coolant hoses and pipes due to condition they were in*** *** declined to replace all of them but approved replacing the heater inlet pipe with o-ring, lower radiator hose with temperature sensor, and the front driver side caliper*** *** authorized and paid for these repairs*** *** returned approximately one week later stating the coolant and oil were leaking from the vehicleUpon further inspection of the vehicle, Spark Automotive noted that the oil dip stick tubing o-ring had broken and needed to be replaced and the upper radiator hose with quick connector and coolant reservoir needed to be replaced*** *** authorized both of these repairsIn addition to this repair, *** *** had asked if we could take a look at why the windows would not work and to call and let her know what the issue wasOn March 16th Spark Automotive had called *** *** and went over this repair estimate with her. At that time, *** stated that she was going to talk to her daughter and she would call Spark Automotive to further discuss the repairsDue to her alleged involvement in a theft at Spark Automotive which occurred on March 15th *** *** parole officer no longer allowed her to come to Spark AutomotiveTherefore, further communication regarding the BMW was done with the customer’s daughter, C’MooreSpark Automotive had received a call from C'Moore on March stating that she was the owner of the vehicle and that going forward, she would be making decisions on the vehicle and paying for the vehicles repairsOn Match 21st, Spark Automotive contacted C'Moore and went through all the repairs and costs regarding the BMW 325iC’Moore approved all of the repairs (invoice 1484) and on March 27th C'Moore had come to Spark Automotive to pick up the vehicleSpark Automotive ran the vehicle’s plates and noted that the vehicle was actually registered to Donna Coleman, so when C’Moore returned to Spark Automotive, we stated that we needed a written the vehicle to C'MooreSpark Automotive went over all of the paper work with both C’Moore and Donna Coleman, as noted by their signature on the final invoice, before releasing the vehicleOur invoices and work orders have clearly documented the authorizationsDue to the alleged robbery that happened with *** and the serious concern if the vehicle itself was stolen at that moment we had to take some time to verify the true owner of the vehiclePlease let us know if there is any further information or support that you would like for us to provideRegards, *** ***

I want to apologize for the delay in our responseI would like to address the complaints posed by Bernard NealyThis customer came into our shop to replace his body control moduleHe hadpreviously gone to another shop to install it, but they didn’t program it, therefore it didn’t workHe then
came to our shop wanting us to replace the part (he brought his own parts: different used body control modules)We took one of the body control arm modules that he provided, installed it and programmed it appropriatelyThe vehicle worked properly at that pointAs an aside, the customer also previously had an incorrect engine installed at another shop and due to this there were still multiple issues with the vehicleAfter the customer left, he returned approximately days later stating that we didn’t install the ‘new’ body control moduleAt this point we requested that the customer let our technician look at his vehicle to inspect it and see what the issue wasHe refused and demanded his money back. Our invoices and work orders have clearly documented the authorization and we have performed the workDue to our initial inspection of the vehicle and the information the customer provided when he brought the car to us, this vehicle had multiple issuesIf we would have been able to inspect the vehicle, it is probable that we would have found a different issue other than the body control module. Please let us know if there is any further information or support that you would like for us to provide.Regards,*** ***
