To whom it may concern,
This letter is in response to my complaint filed against Sparks Car Care IncSparks Car Care responded to my complaint with very untrue statementsI did pickup my car after hoursAnd called and left several messages after I picked up my car as I continued to find more things not working with my carFirst I found my radio , pieces of dash on my floor boardChecked my heat it worked but a/c did notIt is a very statement them to say my air conditioner did notwork, my air conditioner worked so well you had to keep it on lowI have several witness's that have been in my car the week before I took it in & many times before I also have very bad breathing issues so I do not drive with my windows down use my a/c all the time because of my asthmaI can provide my witness's as neededWhen I came back the following day I asked Ken the owner to come outside so I could show him what was done under the hood of the carAlso I did not want other customers to hear the problems that they caused from doing the repairsSparks did not do the repairs out of the kindness of their heartsThey did the repairs because they had damaged the heater core and also the heater control valve I had already paid for one item they damaged when the second was damaged I was not going to pay for that tooWhen they replaced heater core they were suppose to replace the hoses with the proper ones instead they put cheap bulk hose on which is going to cause problem s soonBulk hose is not made for the pressure of the heater core it is also laid across the top of my engine which will rub and will probably wear holes + leak about when the owner + I went outside he did not want to even look at my car all his techs were still there he said to me as he held up my keys to go and get off his property or he will call the police for trespassing He never let me show him anything that is when I became angry and yelled and told him I would see him in small claims courtHe would not even fix my seatbelts which is a safety concernAnd also the only reason they are trying to say my a/c did not work is because of the cost of replacing the freon after they did the jobI have spoke with several repair places and dealer and to replace heater core you must drain freon from air conditionerSo that is why he is making statements about it not working prior to me coming inMy car is old but has been well taken care ofI have a pile of receipts form everything I have done on my car to keep it up with maintence wiseI also have documents from other repair places about what needs to be done to fix some of the problems Sparks has done to my car.

This is to document the incident on September 24, at about 5:10pm between myself and *** ***
On May 11, Mrs*** brought her Nissan Maxima SE to us for
a leaking coolant concernOur technician determined that the heater hoses were leaking and recommend replacing the heater hosesThis work was approved by Mrs***While working with the heater lines the plastic port that passes through the bulkhead brokeDue to the age and condition of the vehicle we would normally expect the customer to take care of the part price and we would take care of the labor involvedMrs*** did not have enough funds to cover this expense at this timeShe also felt that we should be completely responsible for the repairs despite the poor condition of the carWe bypassed the heater core so that the car was operational
Several months later she brought up the point of finishing the repairsI decided out of kindness to cover the complete job even though it was a great deal of expenses to do soWe first scheduled the car to come in on September 9, to perform the repairsWe were unable to do them at that time due to the broken piece being a specialty dealer only itemI went ahead and ordered the part from the dealer at an additional expense to myselfIt took two weeks to arriveWe then rescheduled the repairs for September 23,
On September 23, our technician began working on the carWhile looking over the job he noted that he would have to remove the AC evaporator to get to the heater coreThis would involve vacating the AC refrigerantThis vehicle is so old that it had a RsystemOnly shops with special licenses are allowed to work with RrefrigerantThe technician had the shop foreman look over the jobThey tested the pressure on the AC system and discerned that there was no pressure in the system and thus no RThey proceeded to complete the repairs and by removing the AC evaporator and replacing the heater coreThey then retested the heating system and it all checked out operationalMrs*** made arrangements to pick up the car after hours
On September 24, Mrs*** called in the morning demanding to speak with meShe stated that the radio and AC no longer workedI discussed this matter with my shop foremanHe stated that he personally tested the AC system because it was a Rsystem and found no refrigerant in the systemAC system was not operational at the start of the repairsHe agreed to recheck the wiring connections for a loose connection to get the radio to workI conveyed this information to Mrs***I also instructed her to come in before 4:00pm so my foreman could have a look at the wire connections
At about 5:10pm that evening Mrs*** came in and announced that we needed to go outside for this confrontationI went outside with Mrs*** and began to explain our positionShe interrupted me and became quite agitated and began to scream and curse with vulgar language abusively at meAt that time I told she needs to leave the propertyShe refusedI told her that if she would not leave that I would call the policeShe still refused and then gestured in a combative threating manner, as if we were going to physically fightI told her that she is trespassing and is no longer welcomed on this propertyI then pulled out my cell phone and again instructed her to leave the property or I would call the policeShe continued to curse and swear that she would get back at meShe threatened retribution against me and my companyShe then finally got in her car and left
