Spartan College of Aeronautics & Technology Reviews (10)

Recently, I attended Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology earlier this year (2015)Throughout my attendance I noticed a few things: great curriculum, great instructors (ground and flight), and a great student bodyAlthough, I noticed other things that were not so great: the administration is not very helpful when it comes to a students requests or needs, the aircraft are in very poor condition, too many students with too little aircraft, the facilities are falling apart, the list goes onSpartan recently acquired a contract with a Chinese airline at which this airline will send over or so students at a time to receive training, which is great but, Spartan gives the Chinese students "priority" when it comes to scheduling of an aircraftThis school would be nothing if it weren't for their Flight instructors

This is for Spartan in inglewood, CA I'm done with the classes and currently testingI called to get info on the testing procedure and Alisha who is in charge of testing is very rudeIm in debt for alot of money due to the school tuition and I would expect a little bit of courtesy when I call to receive infoAlisha acts like her job is a dragQuestions bother her even though it's her jobIt seems after you finish classes that they throw this person in the testing center that doesn't care about her job and just brushes you off like you dont matterDrJohnson has changed so much for the better but it seems like she trusts this person who puts on a fake persona during orientation and im sure in front of her boss and her true colors show with the students

Spartan College of Aeronautics is seemingly ran by elementary studentsAfter completing eight weeks of a ten week course they informed me that since I was only enrolled in one class (their scheduling, I wanted three classes) I didn't qualify for financial aid and needed to pay for the course immediately due to federal regulationsI paid and went about my businessTwo months later I get a phone call saying that the people at my address from years ago have a check from Spartan with my name on it for over four thousand dollars, whThat address was not mentioned on my application for the degree but was years agoHowever, I updated my address multiple times with multiple departmentsRecently, the records department said they couldn't change my address of record but changed my mailing address from the listed WA addressI have never had a WA addressIt is hard to believe the level of disorganization of this organization

Spartan College not only provided me with a great education, they also helped me get started in my career as a pilotThe instructors were great, and opened the door to the opportunities I have todayI recommend Spartan to anyone who is interested in being a pilot

I chose to attend Spartan College because it was one of the oldest aviation schools in AmericaThey seemed to have a good curriculumIt was easy for me to understand the material because the instructors were very helpful and did more than just read off a book

I'm done with the classes and currently testing. I called to get info on the testing procedure and Alisha who is in charge of testing is very rude. Im in debt for alot of money due to the school tuition and I would expect a little bit of courtesy when I call to receive info. Alisha acts like her job is a drag. Questions bother her even though it's her job. It seems after you finish classes that they throw this person in the testing center that doesn't care about her job and just brushes you off like you dont matter. Dr. Johnson has changed so much for the better but it seems like she trusts this person who puts on a fake persona during orientation and im sure in front of her boss and her true colors show with the students.

Spartan College of Aeronautics is seemingly ran by elementary students. After completing eight weeks of a ten week course they informed me that since I was only enrolled in one class (their scheduling, I wanted three classes) I didn't qualify for financial aid and needed to pay for the course immediately due to federal regulations. I paid and went about my business. Two months later I get a phone call saying that the people at my address from 12 years ago have a check from Spartan with my name on it for over four thousand dollars, wh. That address was not mentioned on my application for the degree but was 14 years ago. However, I updated my address multiple times with multiple departments. Recently, the records department said they couldn't change my address of record but changed my mailing address from the listed WA address. I have never had a WA address. It is hard to believe the level of disorganization of this organization.

I greatly enjoyed my time at Spartan, and made many lifelong friends while attending there. The instructors were very helpful and respectful to us students. Today I work as a pilot in Denver, Colorado, and without Spartan I would not have the position I have today
