Hi ***, As the customer service team noted, paper refund checks can take an extended time to process (60-days)At this time, I can see that our accounting team has received your refund request and is processing a check for you in the amount of $(your race registration plus fees,
etc.) and is sending it to the address in *** ***This check was cut on 11/and would've been mailed within 24-hours after thatAs such, I would expect you would see the check in the next 7-business days. Please note, an immediate option (a future race credit) in the same amount was offered, however, you elected the full refund, which was noted to take an extended processing time. Thank you,

The Spartan Race failed to say on their website that the races were all full untilIt made me go through the entire process of putting in my entire information(including my cc information) several times and then kicking me off the site Several of my friends had the same problem I immediately contacted Spartan and explained the situation, I was told in an insulting way to restart my browser, which is unacceptable Then they proceed to tell me that that particular heat was full, which was a lied because I knew of several people that cancelled that heat I still wanted to run the race and asked what I could get into *** told me next block was available, and I asked several times if he can but me in that block and he said no and told me I had to go back on the site and re-register again I go to the site to register for that time slot and put my entire information in once again and it told me it was sold out I go back and tell this to *** and he told me it is not showing that on his endThen I proceed to register again for that time block and it happen againGo back to *** asked if he could put me in and he said no once again Yet once again I was told to restart my browser After going back and forth for several hours which cut through my work day, I was able to register Two days later I received my start time, which was 5:45pmI immediately sent them email stating that I did not register for that time nor could I run at that time due to family conflict The morning of the race I contacted them again to try to get an earlier slot(which I knew was available) and again told there was nothing they could do for me The spartan company should not be allowed to not only mistreat people but to be so arrogant to take peoples hard earn money and to tell them that there is nothing they can do for them It is clear that this company only cares about filling their pockets and not their customersThe $I spent may not me a lot to a big company to Spartan but does to me

Hello, As noted, the check was issued by our accounting department on 11/06, and mailed withing 1-business days afterward, making receipt by the post office on the 9th or 10thAfter that, we have no control on the speed at which it may reach youIt make take 10-business days (we are currently only at or 9). I apologize that there is no further tracking we can provideAs noted in our original correspondence, if you would prefer to receive this refund via race credit (rather than paper check) we can issue that credit immediately (electronically)If you would prefer that route, please contact us and let us know. Hello!It appears that as of Saturday (07/11) this complaint has already been resolved through out Customer Service channels. Your team has been instructed to change their race to the desired day, and then, as a courtesy Spartan is refunding the additional deferral fees since you contacted us
immediately after you registered. If there's any way we can assist you additionally, let us know. Thank you!

the services we were offeringIn most cases, we are offering a refund of $to make up for any of the benefits that may not have been fully available to youOur customer service team will be responding to your email today with all of the options we can offer. However, to address your complaint: It appears you did receive the race entry benefits, as well as the reduced cost on multiple laps, as well as the free bag checkI can see we did send "race opening" notices to you - which is the VIP notification of new races. Our membership rewards (discounts on travel, etc.) were available until Jan 1, when the vendor we were working with terminated our contractSince you purchased your pass on Nov30, I can see how this is an extreme inconvenienceAs a result, our Customer service team will be happy to facilitate the $refund as we are not able to currently offer this service. There is no free Spectator pass (and never was) included in the annual pass that you purchased for $Our new pass for 2016, does include the Spectator Pass. Regarding the referral link, unfortunately, it only works to give you credit, if racers use the referral link I do not see any communication from you or your boyfriends email regarding the referral link, but our customer service team will be happy to work with you to address thisBut again, merchant credit is ONLY provided if sign ups are done under that link - if the link wasn't working for any reason, you would need to address that with Customer service first, as we are not able to provide retroactive credit. Please look for an email from our customer service team today, regarding your annual pass credits and $refund. Thank you,

***, Unfortunately, in an effort to be fair and consistent to all our races, there will be no exception made to this policy. As the Customer Service team noted, you ARE Able to transfer your event, since - as you noted - you signed up for the wrong one. The policy for how
that works, what will be credited, etcis found here: ***As noted in the policy, "If you want to defer your entry, you will need to pay the insurance fee again for the new event - NO EXCEPTIONS." as the insurance is legally non-transferable, and non refundable. You are not being asked to pay insurance twice for one registrationYou purchased a registration, with insurance for an eventNow, you would like to change that to a completely separate eventAs such - like all racers - you are being asked to pay the appropriate transfer fees, and pay the insurance for the new eventWhile the events you are switching between are on the same day and in the same general venue, they are completely separate distance events and there is no financial or logistic crossover. You are not required to use the transfer option - you may certainly just re-register for the event using any applicable discount codes (as you are correct, you can not use discount codes, when using the transfer option), if this works out more financially favorable for youHowever, your original entry will not be refunded (per our published policy), and you will need to pay the insurance for the new event. ***, While I can appreciate your concern here, the race that you would like to defer is from January (over a year ago)While we do try and offer reasonable accommodations for our customers whenever possible, at some point we do need to have a cut off point (for accounting
reasons). As such, we were not able to offer the deferral of your race, so long after the eventWe did offer (and per our Customer Service communication, it looks like you have elected to take us up on this) a 50% off coupon to a future race of your choice - which is a very generous discount that we felt would be appropriate in your situation. Please note, all deferral rules (must defer days post event) are clearly stated and published, where you would've seen them before you began the initial deferral process.I do see that you corresponded with our customer service team shortly after you missed that event in January and the same information was provided to you at that time.Unfortunately, while we're happy to accommodate you with the 50% off coupon that you're receiving from our Customer Service team, we will not be able to offer any further compensation

I am again rejecting this because they have NOT provided the service they said they were going to provide and have charged me fees without providing any sort of justification that this is nothing short of stealing from a customer This business continues to not even want to credit me but give me a coupon code for 50% off which is completely unacceptable They have not honored what I have paid for and I will continue rejecting this until they credit or refund me in full

***, I understand your frustration, but every effort has been made to take care of this issue for you, within the limits of reasonable compensation. At this time, we have FULLY Refunded all fees paid toward registration for your and your family for the eventThe was adjusted
by Spartan Race, so all money that you paid toward this event was refunded upon your initial request. However, your registration for was paid largely by a "deferral credit" from a eventWe did not cancel the event, you chose to move out of it and receive a $race-credit to use for a different raceYou used it for the *** eventWe have offered to reinstate the credit that was used (since you used it for the event that was changed), but we can not refund money that was not paid to the event. To give you back everything that was effected by you registering for the *** event that was changed, we have refunded all additional fees paid and offered to reinstate the credit that was used toward it, so that you would have the opportunity to use that credit for another eventWe will not be cash refunding the amount of the credit, since the credit originated by your own choice. ***, While I can understand your frustration at missing your planned Elite wave time, there are some incorrect details here. *** is more than happy to take responsibility and correct situations, when we have effected a racer's plans - such as cancelling a race, or moving a race date,
or venueHowever, in this situation, that was not the case. The original address posted on the *** website and on the *** athlete guide (put up days prior to the race) was to the parking on one side of the casino locationUnfortunately, close to the event, we needed to change the parking plan, due to some conflicts with the venue, so we moved the new parking location less than a mile down the road(You can reference the two addresses, here: *** Knowing that some of our racers may not have received the updated address, we posted additional signage at the original address, to direct racers down the road a little further, to the new parking. At no point were any addresses, other than these two, posted or available on our website - and as you can see via the map, they are less than one mile apart. As a result, we will not be able to offer any compensation for this situation, as there was no significant change here, that should've effected any racers experience. Thank you,

I have contacted my Bank who has no record of any credit because card is not active nor are the accounts that were once connected to the cardHas you answered my email when I said I agreed to accept the $credit before processing it we could have avoided this issueI also requested in my very first email free spectators passes and nothing was offered or saidSo again I'd like like free spectators passes.

Hello, While we can understand your frustration with the cancellation of the event, we have taken all steps to refund any monies and credits associated with the change. Prior to registering for the event, you had race credit to be used for the event of your choice (which you choice to use for this event)We have offered to reinstate that credit, after already refunding all fees and charges associated with your registration for the - thus, reversing any payments or credits used for the effected event. Since we have reversed all payments and credits related to this effected event, there is no further action that we will be takingYou will still have a race credit to be used toward any future event of your choosing (no expiration date), as if you had not ever registered for the event that was effected by the change. Hello, Thank you for your feedbackThis was not a matter of non-response (we reply to all emails within hours or less), but simply that regardless of whether we had been able to respond instantly or not, we would not have been able to make this change for you, since you contacted us less than hours prior to the event and the event was sold out.We provided the option to race at the time that was designated when you purchased your registrationIf you had either a) contacted us earlier, or b) spoken to our team on race day, we may have been able to assist and make some last minute adjustmentsHowever, the event you were inquiring about was completely sold out, and adjustments were only made in exceptional circumstances, in consideration of the safety of all of our racers. As such, no refunds will be provided and your registrations are subject to the same transfer/deferment policies as all racers who are unable to attend an event. Thank you,
