I been with eastlink since and no issues until I got their internet services, for the first months it was fantastic, but from up to today I've been fighting and calling every since, many nights I just can't call in because of the terrible wait times, for example I spent three hours on the phone for someone to tell me to unplug my modem, like really after all those times calling they must know that I will try that first and shut down my pc, anyhow my biggest concern is that they state that they have 20mbps speeds and I haven't seen these since *** I'm paying for a service I'm not getting or haven't been getting since I have another weekend with speeds of mbps and can't use it again, I want my money back cause if I went to a local store I wouldn't walk out without all that I'm paying for
We have Eastlink Rural connect it is always going down we are always getting bumped off we have called to complain they tell us there is nothing wrong
we have called to complain about our serviice always going down saying no internet connection getting bumped off very slow they tell us there is nothing wrong must be congestion this was am on a tuesday morning also been told no one is forcing you to use our service but it is the only one available to us now with the new overage rule we end up paying the extra $a month because everything we do has to be done or times to complete because the internet is always going down we have reguested they send someone out to check connections they refused we are adults in the houseour neighbors have the same issues and have also been complaining with no results we are beening forse to pay $a month for a service that is below standard
Eastlink offered me a month promotion of $for TV, Internet and Home PhoneI was later called and informed the offer was invalidated
On July 2016, I called in to Eastlink to reconnect my servicesI was informed by a product specialist, ***, that since I had only disconnected a short time prior, I would not be eligible for a promotion until January I said got a quote for the service and said I had to discuss with my wifeOn July 2016, I called in a second time and spoke to a different product specialist, *** (I did not get his last name)I provided him with all of the same information to that agent and provided them with between to minutes to review my account details while I waited on holdWhen he returned he informed me I did not qualify for the package I use to have as it was a grandfathered package but he could offer me a new packageI would have to pay for install of $but he would credit me $on my first bill if I chose a new

Today, my daughter dropped her *** (we have a family account under by husband - (***)***The phone was destroyed and we only have protection on my phone (***)***My daughter works in the middle of the bush and needs a phone for safetyShe wanted to buy a new phone from Eastlink- they would not do that without my husband being physically presentShe will go to *** and get a phone that costs more for safetyI got better service from *** and they are not great***
Requested Basic Cable Service March 7th Service was drastically cut but have been charging me twice the cost per monthNot getting service requested
ON March 7th I requested that my cable service be reduced to Basic Cable which I believed that it had because my service was drastically reduced at that time.However I recently enquired why I was being charged month instead of the $ plus I was expectingI have long had complaints about the lack of detail in the bills that are provided on their website as there in no detail and you cannot determine what you are paying forI did not question the bill amount at the time because until April I had dvr service that was an additional $charge; however since that time my bill should have been reduced substantially as my service certainly hadIn any case they responded today that my account shows me with a plan that according to their website does not even existByt I do not even have the minimal kevel if service I shiuld have acq
