I signed no waiver nor is anything posted about their refundpolicy. The brochure on their lashesclearly states that the lashes will last to weeks and waterproof. There is no reason for the lashes to fall outwithin days like mine did. I did not wearmakeup on my eyes (eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow). I also did not saturate my lashes in theshower. I washed my face seperatelymaking sure not to get the lashes wet or rub them. If it were a few lashes here and there Iwould not be complaining. As they saw, multiple lashes fell out leaving large gaps. The brochure and the technician also stated that the lash extensionprocedure would NOT damage my natural lashes and they did. I told them at the initial appointment that Idid not think the lashes looked good and I also told them that I could not seewell due to poor dim lighting and the fact that my vision was impaired due tohaving glue in my eyes and watering. Itold them they felt uncomfortable and like something was in my eye. I was told after a few hours it would getbetter but it did not. When I went backI told them again the issues I was having and how I felt the lashes looked backand asked for a refund (WITHIN days). Another technician did fix them because the original person who put themon was out sick. I was charged $30dollars to fix them and I told them I should not have to pay since they werejust put on. I was told that was theonly way they would fix them so I paid again because they looked horrible! In total I went times in a few weeks togive them a chance to repair and every time multiple lashes fell out within todays and the glue was visible on my lashes. They did NOT look natural and you could easily see where they had been carelesslyapplied. I went days feeling likesomething was in my eyes and had a scratchy feeling and watering eyes. When I told them they said the lashes were onproperly but several were glued too far down on the base of my eyelid. I went to *** *** to have them removedand both technicians there could not believe how horribly bad they look and howimproper they were applied. Instead ofgetting individual lashes like their brochure stated and the technician stated, they clumped lashes together. When*** *** removed them, my lashes were severely damaged (short and missinglashes). There is no way I would givethem a chance to do this again. I feel 6times in a few weeks was more than enough. In total I paid $and had nothing but trouble and only a few weeks ofpoorly done lashes. They did not feel orlook natural like their brochure claimed. I strongly feel I am due a full refund and if not I do plan to move intolegal proceedings

Review: I went to special nails with a legitimate coupon that read "free french pedicure or manicure with purchase of a manicure or pedicure". I asked what I could get for free and they gave me a list to choose from. Once time to pay they claimed my pedicure was not free but that my coupon would only take off 5 dollars. Which brought my grand total to 74 dollars. I proceeded to pay 50 in cash and the rest on my card. Finally when it was all said and done they charged my card for 44 dollars instead of 24! In the end I paid 114 dollars if my tip, of 15 dollars, is included. They laughed in my face when I said my pedicure should have been free.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the 39 dollar pedicure that was supposed to be free with claims from the coupon. I also would like the additional 20 dollars that was charged to my card to be refunded.

Review: I went to Special Nails & Spa on December 31, 2014 to get eyelash extension. Prior to going in I called and discussed the service and process and was told the lashes were individual, would last 4 to 6 weeks and were waterproof. I asked several times if they would damage my natural lashes and was told NO. At the appointment the technician tried to stick something in between my eyes so she could apply the lashes. This caused an immediate sharp pain and watering of my eyes. I told the technician several times it was uncomfortable in which I was told it was part of the process. As she was attempting to glue the lashes to my eyes she got glue in my eyes several times which caused tremendous pain. After the lashes were applied it took approximately 10 to 15 minutes to get my eyes to stop watering and for me to be able to see. I told her that the lashes did not look right and another girl came in and told me they were. Some were drooping down causing me to blink repeatedly. I told them it felt like something was in my eye and they said in a few hours it would go away. It did not. In 2 days most of the lashes fell out and I was still having the feeling something was in my eye. I explained I had not wore any eye make up nor got the lashes wet (full face in shower) so they re-applied and again got glue in my eyes and it was painful. 3 days after that many fell out again and still had the feeling something was in my eye and so I went back in and told them I wanted the money back that I paid ($125). They refused but offered to fix so I let them. When taking off some of the lashes for them to re-apply the technician had scissors and several times pinched my eyelids. After applying I was told I had to pay $35 dollars for the fill in. I told them it had been less than a week but they argued that I had to pay so I did. After a few days they fell out again so once again I let them fix. This time the technician glued my right eye shut and had to pull my lids apart.Desired Settlement: I want $125 and $35 refunded back to me.
