On July 8th a massive tree fell into our homeSpecial Touch worked with our insurance company so we agreed to have them do the restoration Special Touch agreed to repair our house after a large tree fell damaging our roof, bathrooms, deck, fence, chimney We contracted and paid them to do some additional work that just made sense since the roof and walls were being replaced and new siding installed We were told the work would take approximately weeks unless there were issues with inspections or obtaining materialsAfter more than months we still are waiting for them to finishThe communication with our project manager has been unacceptable, almost non existentWe want Special Touch to provide us a complete itemized account of what work they expect to be compensated for from our insurance company, what items they acknowledge we completed and will be compensated for, and have all inspections completed so that we can move on Filing this complaint is not something that we

Special Touch has been a very challenging company to work withIn the beginning I was asked for the first insurance check received which I gave to the job supervisor(my fault)I was told job(room rental grease fire, kit and lvrm) would be finished in to daysAfter +days, work was not completedFinally in NovI signed off,asking for an itemized cost of work, in order to compare items and work I had providedWas sent a cover page with handwritten notes and typed amts consisting of items and other totalsRequested printed copy which I did not receiveThen, asked for a printed/paper copy to be mailed(did not recv).Recvd the estimate copy from insurance adjuster, which I requested; but,never one from Special Touch showing anything I had providedI lost months rent on a job (rooms renovated and rooms and basement cleanup which to days should have been ample time for completion still no paper copy for comparison

This business does not clean items that they say they are going to clean and still charged money even though they did not clean our home items
Our home caught fire on ***Our insurance company contacted Special Touch to clean our items from our homeOur items from our home should have been because there could have been soot from the fire on our itemsOur son has severe allergies and cannot be exposed to soot or anything that could flare up his allergiesWe also contacted Special Touch about our *** watch that we were looking forWe were told that they were not going to look for our item and that we were not considered a priorityWhen our items were scheduled to be delivered to our home after it was repaired on ***, we were not made aware that our items were never cleaned from the home fireThe company delivered our items to our finished home on *** and upon delivery we discovered many problemsOur refrigerator was delivered and noticed there was a dent
