Specialized Auto Solution

Review: Fives months ago I entered into an 80 day consignment agreement with a Specialized Auto Solution to sell my car which has approximately $30,000 remaining on a loan. I was interested in finding a person to take over my monthly payments on the car. The dealer, named [redacted], told me at the time of the consignment that he had a buyer interested in my car. For months now, he has been making excuses as to why the car has not sold. A few times, he has said the deal was "done" and that the payment should go through in a few days. While a few partial payments have gone through, nothing more has ever been done. The payment he made for this month has bounced and I am now late on a car payment that isnt in my possession. The car, bank loan, and insurance are still in my name. Since it is past the 80 day consignment window (consigned on June 10th), I have asked for my car back MULTIPLE times. The dealer refuses. I have threatened to report the car stolen if it is not returned promptly. According to him, if I report the car stolen then I will be facing 5-10 years due to insurance fraud because I gave the car to him. For months now, he has been answering my texts and always promises payment is forthcoming. However, there have been many such promises. It has been 5 months since I last saw the car. I have no idea who has it, where it is, or what condition it is in. My credit has been damaged. I am feeling totally helpless and powerless.Desired Settlement: I would like my car back in my possession or the car/loan taken out of my name.
