I am rejecting this response because:
The business is providing a statementI do not even know who Brett isI worked with a guy who presented himself as Randy (the owner)I am disgusted by the statement that the business is fabricatingFirst, the seller has a a dealer licsense, so it is his duty to operate his business in a manner that an ordinary reasonable car dealer wouldI have never heard of a car dealer loaning a vehicle to a perspective buyer for a week?? He did not lend me the vehicle to drive back to Grand Forks, NDEven if he did, would that not be a liability to him since he did not have me on the insurance coverage of the vehicle? That is sad, that Randy is not being at least honest on what happenedThe car stayed in his (Randy) possession during the whole course of communicating between both parties without including test drive to ACURA dealershipThe car's headlights were in pretty poor condition and I requested if he could clean it up, he said "no worries, I will take care of it, I have a service man comes once a week to detail carsRandy is in the business of detailing cars, so performing headlight restoration is not an unordinary request, especially if he priced the car at excellent conditionThe headlight restoration is something that I could have done myself if I ended up buying the car, it is a task that can cost on average between $to $depending on the brand you use to clean the headlights withHe did not mention charging me for anything I gave him my credit card number to save in case I ended buying the car he would then from there take the $500 from the credit card as part of the purchase of the vehicleI never gave him authorization to do so, because I never bought the car, everything was contingent on whether the car was in good working conditionSo when I got to Eden Prairie to check out the car, I decided to take it for a service inspection at an certified ACURA dealership since the vehicle was an ACURAIt was the night before I serviced the car, I realized Randy had ran my credit card and charged $on itI was so much disbelief, but I still thought he would have good faith and refund the money if I was not going to purchase the vehicle since we agreed that he would only use the credit card when came time for me to purchase the vehicleUnfortunately the Acura dealership found the car to be in very poor condition and recommended over $8,in repairThe vehicle was near empty when Randy allowed me to take the dealership that day, and was not in safe condition to drive back to Randy's businessSo, I notified Randy that I would not be purchasing the vehicle and that It was unsafe condition to drive in since the brakes were at a hazardous stage according to the certified Acura specialistsI notified him that the vehicle was at the Acura dealership, and began to scream at me and swear at me that I would not get my $back and that he was going to call the police for a stolen vehicleMinnesota statute recognizes a missing or stolen vehicle to be upon when the owner 1) did not give the person permission to drive the vehicle, 2) the owner does not know where the vehicle is, 3) the owner reasonably believes that the driver has no intent in returning the vehicle or the vehicle is unreasonable for the owner to secure. That was not the case. Randy gave me a dealers permit upon taking my drivers license information before giving me permission to drive his vehicleThe car happened to be in a very poor condition and there was no effort in pricing the car at a reasonable priceSo I did what any smart person would; I did not go through with purchasing the vehicleI want my $but more so I want everyone to know how dishonest this business isI have text messages I can upload if that would the process go easier When Mr *** ultimately decided not to go through with the purchase, Specialty Auto kept the $deposit in question to cover the expense of the work they had done on the vehicle, as well as the miles Mr *** put on it during the week or so he had it.Brett says that Mr ***'s credit card company has since apparently taken the $charge off Specialty Auto's card -- i.e., Mr *** should now have his $back

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2015/07/27) */
After exchanging voicemails, reached *** *** by phone (7-27, 11:AM)
Mr *** explained that when Mr *** first purchased his Range Rover, an independent representative selling Alpha Warranty did instate Mr ***'s policy, but
subsequently determined Mr *** did not have the "right kind" of Range Rover for that particular coverage, and began discussing possible alternatives with Mr *** at Specialty Auto
(Mr *** adds that the representative in question is no longer with the company.)
To date, Alpha Warranty and Specialty Auto have not been able to find a viable alternative for Mr ***'s Range Rover, and Mr *** has decided the most appropriate course of action at this point is to refund Mr ***
He says he will see to it personally that Mr *** is refunded, and anticipates that he should have his refund check within approximately two weeks
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 17, 2015/08/06) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Still have not received any refund or have had any contact with the company or Mr***
Final Business Response /* (1000, 22, 2015/09/17) */
Reached *** *** by phone (9/17, PM) -- says he's not sure why the check may not have gone out yet
Says he will check into it and get back to Revdex.com by 9/
(Revdex.com will update Mr *** accordingly at that time.)

Called business on no response -- spoke to Brett, Sales Manager.Brett indicates that Mr *** actually had this vehicle in his possession for approximately a week in Grand Forks, and that Specialty Auto did some work on the car (e.g., headlights) for Mr *** in anticipation of his buying the
vehicle. When Mr *** ultimately decided not to go through with the purchase, Specialty Auto kept the $deposit in question to cover the expense of the work they had done on the vehicle, as well as the miles Mr *** put on it during the week or so he had it.Brett says that Mr ***'s credit card company has since apparently taken the $charge off Specialty Auto's card -- i.e., Mr *** should now have his $back
