Specialty Claims Management Reviews (2)

Dear Ms [redacted] :
This will serve as our response to the complaint. This accident has a date of loss of April 28, Claimant [redacted] alleged that her cell phone flew off the seat and the screen cracked and coffee spilled on it so it was water damaged. She also alleged that her blue tooth flew out the window and was lost.
Our adjuster told her that he could consider her claim if she provided receipts and a photo of the broken screen. Claimant provided a photo of a phone with a broken screen, but was not the same phone on the receipt. She then escalated to the supervisor in the office, when the adjuster questioned her on this fact. We told her that we could replace the phone, but she would need to send it to us for retention. She then said that it belonged to T-Mobile and was under contract. She then sent in an invoice from almost years ago for the phone's purchase (or contract). We agreed after discussion to pay her half of the purchase price of the phone, charging bettermentClaimant accepted.
The running around was her having to obtain the documents needed to support her claim for the phone's value and damaged condition.
Claimant was paid $for her phone and Bluetooth

Review: I am being made to "jump thru hoops" with these people! I'm driving miles upon miles to satisfy their requests and refuse to reimburse me for mileage and paying for rides to accomplish feats! The adjuster I have to deal with is nothing short of arrogant, insulting and pedantic!! He has NO people skills and he is a LIAR!! He is causing hardships in abundance for me and I feel it is done purposely!!Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed for my mileage due to their requesting the information and I'm having to drive all over town to get it for them!
