Specialty Eye MD

Review: I used eye md specialty services over a year ago, which I was charged for. When I looked at my account on March 5,2014, there were two charges from them which when I called they said never went through last year.So, they charged my account a year later and didn't bother to inform me beforehand which stopped payment on other bills pending on my account. The Two charges totalled $70.00. I asked to speak to their billing department and was transferred to voice mail. I called back numerous times and was either hung up on or transferred to voice mail. I have left several messages, but got no response.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund since I was not informed prior to them charging me,and I believe it was paid last year. If they were having trouble with their billing, they should inform their patients.

Office was not clear about what was cover by my insurance. Unqualified front desk/medical assistant ran expensive eye tests and had no idea what they were doing, yet charged me for the services, which I later found out were not covered by my insurance after receiving a bill in the mail a month later.
