Bureau                                     ...⇄                            4/20/2015Please find the letter we sent to the Mr.[redacted].  He was not "charged" anything.  He accepted anestimate.  There is a difference. We never "charge" people aftera job is done. We bid every job in advance. He is trying to twist the truthjust enough by saying we "charged" him. He then goes on to detailimagined time "impressions" and comparisons to [redacted] materialpricing.He chose the better of two pump installations. The actual retail price for thepump in our industry is higher than the "[redacted] do it yourselfprice". That is because we are a service dealer and we include warrantyservice. Who said we are supposed to match [redacted]? How would that ever bepossible?We never represented the job would take 8 hours (his impression). We are not atime and material contractor and we don't discuss time. He sort of inventedthat. A State of Washington Licensed Electrician/Plumber and a Certified TraineeElectrician/Plumber were on this job. Our work takes less time because we knowour trade.  Should we not be paid for that? We are highly regulated. Afterthousands of hours of required training and class time, we expect to be paidfor our knowledge. Mr [redacted] wants to bend the truth in his favor. It'ssimple. He wanted his pump system fixed quickly because his whole house was out of service. We arrangedto have the sewer tank pumped out and then we installed the correctly sizedGrinder pump to replace his non grinder pump.  We put his house back inservice quickly and correctly. By the way, he might want to know that the pump we installed was a fairly newdesign that is sized correctly for his house and will last longer than mostcompetitors would have installed. Most of our competition are not even awarethat this pump exists or even care about it.  Until recently, industry hasbeen relegated to installing too large or the wrong style of pump in thisapplication.  The larger pumps have a short life. Sometimes they last halfas long. This pump is sized correctly.It’s simple. Mr. [redacted] is shopping afterthe fact. He is telling everyone that he is right and we are wrong. He hasnotified other online entities.
