Specialty Sprinklers

Review: I gave [redacted] owner of Specialty Sprinklers 50% down to start our sprinkler system and landscaping (rock in flowerbeds and sodding our lawn)This was a check for $3623.00 [redacted] promised to start the next day, which he did. Since that day he shows up for 1/2 an hour now and then. [redacted] leaves kids here to do the work. These kids tell me that they don't know what to do and there work shows they don't. The last time [redacted] was here was 4/17/14. The job is far from complete and he won't take our calls. We've since found out that [redacted] is not licensed and has not taken out a permit for this job. We've had two other sprinkler contractors look at [redacted]'s work. Both said the same. The system will not cover all of our lawn. [redacted] also installed the wrong size backflow valve. It will cost us an extra $400.00 to $700.00 to finish our sprinkler system. It's going on two weeks since [redacted]'s appearance.Desired Settlement: We would like refund of $700.00 to fix our system.

Review: We hired [redacted] to do landscaping at our new home. (Sprinklers, sod, concrete, & basalt) He came and gave us a bid and we agreed on a price so he asked for half down so I wrote him a check. Over a two month period he has only finished the sprinklers and about 85% of the sod. He said the company where he gets the sod didn't have any available so my husband called them & they said yes there was. Another lie he told us was that he was out of town for a death & the one time the office lady answered she told me he was in town doing a different job. He also kept trying to raise the price after we had already agreed on a bid. He has not done enough work for the amount of money we have given him. My husband & I have tried hundreds of times to get a hold of him to see if he would come finish what we agreed to and he wouldn't ever show up. I kept calling his cell phone & the office but they hardly ever answered and I was even hung up on by the office. The time I blocked my number they answered. The last time he respond, it was to a text saying he would give the remainder of our money back because I had told him I was going to turn him into the Revdex.com. He now will not answer any of my phone calls or texts after that & I still haven't gotten my money.Desired Settlement: I would like the remainder of my money back so we can put it towards finishing our yard.

Specialty Sprinklers has been taken over by new owners. Phones we will answered and the customers will be taken care of better than ever .
