I signed up for Sun PowerWorst buying experience ever!!!
Our sun power project manager Ryan *** was the worst communicator and obviously had no idea how to manage a project
He started the relationship off by providing the wrong email address, so I had to go back to the sales guy and have Ryan tracked downThen after it was misinformation, wrong datesrepeatedly for over months
I have all the emails and quite frankly he thought just saying sorry and he'd do better (which he never did) was good enough
I had to keep asking what was going on, what's the next step, which he'd get wrong
I took many days away from work to be told THAT DAY, "oh your apptis next week sorry"
This simple project took over Months!!

I have had nothing but problems with sunpower since Sept of 2013; the list is too long to state but after installing a NEW roof the panels were installed poorly and my roof leaks and this caused damage to ceilings and one of my wallsI am fearful that mold may be growing in my house because of these leaks Amergy a company associated with sunpower sent someone to check out the problem they did NOT SPEAK ENGLISH REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I complained to sunpower who called amergy and they never called sunpower back this is not the first time this has happened
After calling sunpower again they sent someone to check out the problem and they stated the leaks were due to poor installation and would passon the reportI called sunpower and they said the report will be passed on to the proper dept.; this was over weeks ago still NO responseI haave since stopped paying sunpower and will not pay them till the work is compleated to my satisfactionIf I have to fix the problem myself by hiring someone thel willnot get paid till I get my money backNEVER USE SUNPOWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could not register my solar system since they could not identify my serial number on website. Called tech support and the recording said wait time 7 minutes. Gave option to leave message of which I declined. After 10 minutes system automatically sent me to leave a message. Left message, but I tried again 5 minutes later and was able to get through. (Still haven received call back from message I left). They said someone had to come out to link it with their server to report. I was told, not that it would be 3-5 days to come out, but 3-5 days just to get someone to call me to make an appointment.. This is not service. I am in service and I would be fired if I waited 3-5 days to call a customer.

Worst customer service ever, did not meet timeline, damaged personal property, never return calls, System still not working, no will come out to verify if the install and functionally is working.

Sunpower has been incredible for the last 4 years that we have had our solar panels - they are a top notch company and have the best panels. Highly recommend

I have a Sunpower system about 5 years old. The local dealers don't want to come out and look at it. Sunpower won't help. So the warranty is useless as is the system.
