Please be advised that on December 26, our agency did write an auto policy for Ms*** *** on her Chevrolet Cruz placed through Unique Insurance
Ms*** gave us a down payment of $to start her policy and the remaining balance was premium financed throughout five monthly installmentsHer account did go into cancelation status for non-payment on January 23, An email plus letters were sent to her reminding her of her monthly payment that was due on January 21, On January 26, Ms*** did contact our office to request cancelationMargret T*** did tell Ms*** that the policy would be canceled effective February 7, 201S which is when Unique was going to officially cancel her policySince her account with us did result In earned premium balance due to cancelation, a series of letters were sent to Ms*** on 3-9-25, 3-30-25, and again on 4-18-advising her of the earned premium owedMs*** again contacted our office in the end of April upset about the letters she received about the earned premium balanceShe spoke to Michelle J*** who then asked Ms*** to please email her declaration page from her current insurance companyWith a copy of her policy we can request Unique to backdate the date of cancelation based on when she started up her policy with her new insurance companyWhen MsJ*** did receive the proper paper work by email, Ms***'s account was put In for reinstatement so we could re-order the cancelation with a back date of January 23, (the date her new policy went into effect)On May 2, we re-submitted the cancelation request to be canceled effective on January 23, On May 14, we received the back date from Unique Insurance which resulted in an additional creditPlease keep in mind that her Chevrolet Cruz was insured during the period of 12/27/through 1/23/which resulted In earned premiumWe will send out check number *** in the amount of $to clientI have attached a copy of the refund check along with the history of the cancelation verifying that we just received the additional earned premium from Unique insurance
I would like to point out that Ms*** submitted her complaint on May 12, a day before Unique Insurance issued her additional earned premium.
