Spectra Venue Management Reviews (%countItem)

Spectra Venue Management - for the *** Center - web site, ticket sales, and parking pass sales.

I the process of purchasing tickets on-line for an event - a $5 parking pass (required) can also be purchased.
Once the transaction is complete - their confirmation exclaims that "Parking is Free" with the *** Parks and Recreation pass. Why isn't this disclosed before the purchase.
In addition, only once the shopping cart is to be paid are exorbitant fees disclosed.
A $1.50 "Ticket Fee"
A $3.50 "Order Fee"
A $1.00 "Delivery Fee"
= $11.00 for an advertised $5 Parking pass.

Dear ***,

I am writing you in response to the Revdex.com complaint received via e-mail, dated December 27, 2019. We would like to thank you for your purchase of tickets to the concert, and appreciate your feedback regarding this experience. In an effort to clarify, I have provided a detailed explanation of the occurrences.

Included here is the body of the reply to your email to me on November 11, 2019:

Hi ***

I'm reaching out to you due to the email received below. Hopefully I can help explain the situation a little further to avoid the unexpected charges in the future. The fees you list are applied to any order put through the ticketing system, so if someone bought a pair of tickets without parking, the same fees would exist. I've gone ahead and refunded $7.50 to thank you for your patronage. This refund consists of the $5 parking charge and delivery fee, as the parking ticket was mailed to you. Some people do choose to pre-pay the parking as they don't like to carry cash, or to expedite the process. That is why we have multiple avenues for the customer to arrange their preferences as they see fit.

In the future, all fees can be avoided by paying upon arrival to the parking lot. Also, the Parks pass does gain you access to the parking lot year round, free of charge. Feel free to call us directly with any questions in the future, as we can certainly work with you in order to make your experience enjoyable. Thank you and I hope you enjoy ***!

No further interaction occurred with you following this email. Again, we appreciate your patronage and will continue to use the feedback to better our business practice. Hopefully the information included in the original communication are satisfactory to address any & all perceived issues.

Kind Regards, ANDREW L.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Thank you for your refund.
Exception, as one of my points of the complaint appears to be over-looked: The fact that the *** State Parks pass - will waive the parking fee - should be advertised Up front on the parking fee page (before purchase) - NOT at the end of the transaction with all the fees applied.
This is not transparency for a benefit to Parks pass holders. By the way - this Parks pass benefit is not listed in the benefits list when purchasing the yearly Parks pass.
