Upon hearing about the complaint which was < weeks ago and the inspection was 3-21-appears *** moved in mid April*** *** brought this to my attention

I did speak with *** *** and sent her an email with my response to some of her emails/concerns after she moved in this was 9-16-Attached is a sample document of an inspection agreement all customers signIt is not the document she signed I do have that on hand In response to
the complaint, I did try to apologize to *** but she hung up on me on 9-16-16, I text message her and said as stated on my website I have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and would refund her money $for the inspection but I also refunded her the termite fee of $so $total check # *** mailed out on 9-20-We stated in the report page the electrical connection to the home was not correct, as far as an electrician stating the main panel is not to code, he is correct in today's standard because a AMP electrical panel is not standard and this was pointed out that her insurance company may not accept this, the panel itself was not bad or incorrect for the age of the home Yard drainage was not an issue the day of the inspection and gutters were not in disrepair the day of the inspection*** did find some surprises after the inspection inside the downspouts where someone was stuffing golf/wiffle balls in the divertersThe diverters are of an old clay material and it was pointed out in the report that these have been known to fail over time and a CCT scan is recommended The seller also disclosed the basement leaked from time to time, this is on the seller disclosureThe settlement issue of the concrete/front porch area is pointed out in the report due to a footer/CMU block being positioned incorrectly and was fixed by the seller prior to closingI also went out of my way to find a plumber for *** the day of her closing because there was a laundry drain that was not correct and the sellers company they hired said it was fine but it is not at allApollo also did a full electrical inspection after our inspection and they found no issues with the stove wiring, I called Apollo to verify what they do and their inspection was all electrical and outlets etcAfter we are done making our recommendations and repairs are made or reviewed by an additional professional it is left at thatWe also do a detailed and over the top inspection for all our clients and I was glad the seller agreed to fix over $in issues we uncoveredThe only obligation I have and am liable for is the inspection agreement contract which states *** *** *** is not liable for these issues and a refund of her full inspection feeIf *** would agree to me sending the very detailed report to the Revdex.com I would need her authorization

Yes I have received a refund from this company but at the same time I'd like to clear up the inconsistencies an inaccuracies in the response sent by MrE First it doesn't address the issue of the stove which was really the main point of my complaint It was never wired in properly and the state of the electrical panel in the basement was not relevant to this Its incorrect installation, which would have been seen by opening the cabinet door below it or by turning on the burners and noting a lack of red elements (the stove was turned on in the report but the malfunctioning elements was not noted), caused a potential lethal fire hazard in my home That oversight to me is extreme considering how easily accessible and noticeable it was Second, the issue of the porch support pier sinking into the ground is not addressed by the fix that MrEmentioned in his response The fix for that support pier (which I'm currently paying for) is to have the concrete removed around it and area surrounding regraded (in addition to new gutters) and having a mason jack up and repair the structure This is not just a cosmetic fix as this support also supports the roof of the home I'd also like to address the phone call, this was the second phone call after maybe a dozen emails during which MrEat no point even attempted an apology The apology that I did receive during the phone call was a qualified apology that essentially came because I had asked for it and he still was adamant that despite all of these issues that i'm dealing with, he had done a good job At the point I felt that no more constructive conversation could be had so I terminated the phone call I have since realized that he is not Revdex.com accredited which in hindsight I should have taken the time to look for and will do in the future I'm aware that he found discrepancies with the house totaling close to $but i'm close to investing another $in fixes that weren't found and when you couple that with the fire hazard of the malfunctioning stove I find this inspection to be severely deficient Coupling that with the refusal to take responsibility for the deficiencies an attempting to call out my character and mislead the Revdex.com with claims about the inaccuracies of the initial report my main goal in this is to inform the greater area of his poor professionalism so that they may invest their money into a more reputable company
