Review: I am a disabled client and in September 2014 Spectrum was hired by the state to put a handicap bathroom in my home and new sidewalk,rail,gate etc in. Spectrum done half the job and had left garbage in and around my yard for almost two weeks.They claimed in the middle of September they where done and requested their $17,000 from the state,at that time I refused to sign the release papers, the job was not completed,I also gave pictures to the state of the mess.Spectrum was being paid to put certain items in and had the price list to pay for such items,my landlords and husband caught them trying to use used items and cheaper items then was quoted and they would of been paid for the more expensive item.One week ago I sat down with the owner and we came to an agreement that he would come back and finish the job as he said the work was not completed.He said he would be here on December 17th at 8am.I ask him to please be on time because his workers always came at all different times,He promised to be here on time.He came today the 17th at 10:28am.I was giving this company a chance to make things right.He made no phone call to my case manager at [redacted] or myself.This has been a nightmare from the start.I have MS and at times during the day I have an aide in and must rest throughout the day.I explained this to the owner of Spectrum.I explained to him that we only have one bathroom and was left without a toilet in September,he said he would be here on time and have the job done in 2 days.When Spectrum came late today again I knew this was the same old song and dance and ask them to leave.Spectrum has changed or is in the process of changing their name to Invaded Exterior. The owners name is [redacted](I think I am spelling his last name correct).Their very unprofessional, they charged the state for things they did not use.This has been an awful experienceDesired Settlement: Since this will also be reviewed by the State,and at this point I do no want these people in my home,I wanted to make this information available to Revdex.com and other consumer's that may be looking into hiring Spectrum or Invaded Exterior.
