Consumer entered into a lease agreementAfter we were told that heater was malfunctioned, we ordered the parts and gave him the loaner car as a courtesy even though the only parts under warranty are engine and transmissionWhen the part arrived, we noticed we were sent the wrong part, and ordered
the correct oneWe asked the customer to come take another SUV (with heater working) as a courtesy but customer was out of the stateCustomer is leasing the vehicle, not purchasing, and the amount he paid us was non refundable as per his lease agreementWe always try our best to help every customer, but some customers want us to go way far beyond, or think that they are getting new vehicles, not used vehiclesWe have text messages proving the conversations with said customer

I am writing thls letter in response to the email that I received on July 11,2017.One of my family members was killed during that time and I did not respond to the email because I didnot know that it had come in until afterwards.I am asking that you reopen this caseI am not at all satisfied with the business' response.Sincerely,Mr*** E***

I am rejecting this response because:This man is a bonafide liar and a deceiverThis slip of paper he submitted to you is the one I wrote before the purchased of this vehicle giving him $to prepare the vehicle for pick up - at which time I asked that these items be addressedSpectrum Motor called me ten days later [the day I picked up the vehicle];and told me that it was beautiful [referring to the paint job; and the interior, etcand in excellent running conditionWhen I got there to pick it up, the battery had to be replaced before I could even drive it homeI went there three days later with concerns that were never addressed and he had one of his employees type it out stating that he would take care of the list that was typed out: starting with the old things firstI had to leave my vehicle with them for about three (3) days to be painted and even that was not properly doneHe told the workers not to do all that we had discussedIf it is a lie, they said it to meI had to replace both my light right after buying the vehicle because one of his employees put in the wrong bulbs and shorted the socketsThey replaced the Windshield Solvent Reservoir- now the fluid won't event stay in itI told him about the noise coming from my Cooling FanIt was not fixed properly until I took it to the Mercedes DealershipOne of the connectors was not put back on by them.I was told that they would find me a Right Rear Door Actuator and when they did there was a game being played by the mechanic that contacted me concerning the priceHe was supposed to fix it because it was on the list I wrote before I picked up the vehicleSo how is it that he has gone above and beyond when he did not even fix all of the listed items from the very beginning?I have spent a lot of money also having their makeshift work correctedMy Key Fob will not work because of the right rear door that was sticking when I test drove the carIf that is not true why would the Mercedes Dealership charge me over to tell me so?He is not above the law and someone needs to tell him so!

Attached page was sent to the Attorney General office as a response to customer. The case was closed due to the fact the vehicle was purchased AS IS, with a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty on engine and transmission only. This doesn’t include anything besides engine and transmission. It clearly...

states as such in his paperwork that he attached.  I am attaching the original list of repairs the customer provided for us prior to picking up the vehicle, and we have taken care of all those items.  He later came in to the shop with a list of new problems which were not on his list of problems to fix prior to buying the vehicle, due to the fact they were not problems that showed up until later. Anything he is complaining about that was not on that original list we told him we would assist him in trying to get him the best prices on as well as giving him 30% discount on labor which nobody else could offer him, especially not after all the headache he has brought to us. But he never came back to the shop to purchase the parts or to get the work done. We have gone above and beyond to help this customer; some people cannot be pleased regardless how much you do for them.

We advise you to never buy a used vehicle again in your life. You are extremely picky and you want a brand new car for such a low price. People who contact the AG or the Revdex.com about vehicle issues and dealer problems do so because they have been sold a lemon with a bad engine and bad transmission, or they get terrible service from that dealer which is NOT the case. You have a nice vehicle with a great engine, great transmission, and have been driving this car for the last six months. We went above and beyond to please you with something not any dealer would do to please you on a used vehicle. In regards to the list that was typed...We never agreed to fix those items like fan, or door or key for free for you. First of all, We told you that you had to go to Mercedes dealer for the key fob issue, and that we would give you discount 30% on the parts/labor for fixing the other items. I will not call you a liar or deceiver because that is unprofessional, but the list that was typed out were items you wanted to have completed/fixed and we told you we would definitely help you and give you the 30% discount on. You know this to be the truth because you sat with me while I searched online for the best price on parts in order to save YOU money, so you know we were Never going to pay for those items ourselves. Just because you have a list typed out you want to claim that we said we would fix those things for free--- not so.The warranty you are trying to get refunded for was only on engine and transmission, which clearly states that all oil changes, car servicing or any repairs must be done with us or warranty would be lost. All I Can tell you is that you still have 30% discount on parts/labor on anything you want to do on your vehicle, if you do not appreciate that you can pay full price elsewhere since you do not appreciate the people that are helping you out.

We leased [redacted] a 2005 Acura TL with good transmission, good engine, good AC and he started complaining about the most tedious small things, so we decided to accommodate him and switch him into a 2007 Sonata, in which he did not complain of any issues whatsoever. He actually came to the...

office one day stating that he lost his job and could not afford his payments, and voluntarily turned in the vehicle. Customer was aware that by law we reserve the right to garnish wages due to breaches in the lease contract, which is why he specifically stated he would return after his job interview that day in order to speak with the owner to prevent that from happening. The customer never returned to speak with the owner, nor did he communicate with us after that, until we received notice of this ludicrous complaint. We give all our customers an option of one year warranty on engine and transmission, free rental car when vehicle is in shop or if wrecked and getting fixed. We also give them 30% discount on repairs. We do not cheat, we sell and lease used vehicles, not new vehicles. If it has a check engine light, worn brakes, or bad sensors, these are not things that we warranty. Money put down at lease signing is 100% non-refundable and customer knew this at the time of paying it and signing the paperwork. All customers test drive vehicles before accepting them, and are requested to do a full inspection prior to signing the contract, which was done prior to the first vehicle and second as well. Check engine light can be caused by any number of issues, including needing to replace gas cap. Regardless no complaints were made regarding the newer, more recent year vehicle he was given. At the time of lease signing, customer put the required $500 deductible for full coverage insurance on the vehicle, and later changed it to $1000, stating he could not afford it which is a breach in lease contract. He also was late on the deferred payment, and had not contacted us at all regarding payment, which was another breach of the lease contract. This is a very unprofessional way to break a lease contract, dumping it on the Revdex.com. We remind the customer that he has 15 days from today to return and continue with his lease agreement, paying the amounts already behind, including the deferred payment he missed, or we could always proceed in court for garnishment of wages.
