In regard to complaintVehicle was presented with a low tire for oil service and to have tire checkedNail was found in tire which had not penetratedNo repair was neededTire was however low on airIn order to fill tire, valve cap has to be removedThe original equipment cap had been previously replaced with the wrong type capIt was a metal capWhen metal caps are placed on TPMS valves they seize onto stem and more often then not, break when removedThis was the case here, as soon as Tech attempted to remove, the stem brokeVideo shows Tech being extremely careful in attempt to save customers stem from damageWe do not replace TPMS stems as we do not have a tire machine on site so customer was referred to Town Fair Tire for replacement which is what we always recommend as these sensors are prone to breaking and do so quite oftenWe changed tire to spare and did not charge to do soNormally a twenty dollar charge would have been assessedThis was all explained to the customer by Tech and myselfIf we were negligent in any way, we would pay damagesIn this case there was clearly none.*** *** *** *** *** Good Afternoon, My name is ***
