On February 5, at approx9:am we were called out by the property owner to Impound a vehicle which had been left on their propertyWe Impound said vehicle which she is the registered ownerI believe the first call from her was on the 15th of FebruaryShe was going to "contact her lawyer" and/or "small claims court'We were told all (four) of her tires need replaced. If we will not replace all the tires on this vehicle, her mother knows several repair shops ownersShe, the mother, is going to have them "stop doing business with us." As time has past, it is now is just (one) tireIf we don't give her money, she will turn us into the Revdex.comThis vehicle was dollied into our shopNo tires were on the ground from the time it was removed from where the owner parked it illegally. She will not get a refund for leaving her vehicle where she wasn't to parkShe will not get an apology for us removing this vehicle, as requested by the property owner. If there was an issue with her vehicle as she states, why didn't she return with the vehicle as soon as she picked it up? Sincerely,Dorothy L [redacted]

Speed's Towing of Vancouver was called to do an Impound at *** ***AptsSince the Impound of this vehicle, all types of claims of damages have been madeon our Facebook pageI was so surprised that a person could know how badly avehicle was damaged without seeing it and/or driving itWhen
Ms*** picked up her vehicle, she was given a Request for Impound HearingformI personally, showed her where to sign the formI also showed her where to checkone or both of the boxes at the topShe was informed to file in a timely manner at thecourt house, bottom floorWe also let her know that this was a copy that had beenmailed out to her in that day's mailShe assured me she would be filing, as the complexhad no right to have her impounded just because she didn't have a parking permit andshe was in a reserved space. After paying the feesI walked out to the bay with her and my driver where her vehiclewas parkedShe made a request for some fuel for her daughter's car before she leftAtno time did she say we damaged her vehicleThe brakes and steering were workingwell as she stopped at our bay door and turned a hard right before proceeding on out tothe streetNo mention of body damage was made eitherShe then drove awayShedid not return and/or call to say was having any problems with her CaravanThe onlydamage claims were made before seeing the vehicle and again with this notification. We deny any claims of damage
Sincerely,
Dorothy L***

RE: *** ***, *** After being a Registered Tow Truck Operator for over (thirty) years, this is the first time I can recall dealing with a person who thought they had paid for our service by leaving a signed off title with a tow truck driverI could never stay in business for all these years without being paid money for our servicesAn RTTO cannot sell vehicles with titleIf we were able to do this, I believe my license would be for a dealershipBy law, we are required to apply for and sell vehicles with an Abandoned Vehicle ReportIn order for the AVR to processthere are laws that we have to followFor this reason, our costs continue to accrue, even if we have the titleWhat our driver, Joe, tells me is not the same as what she or Mr*** statesJoe has been with Speed's for a yearJoe has been a good employee, honest and has no reason to lieHe told us on Monday to call this person to complete this transaction*** has stated that, yes she did get a phone call from our officeShe does admit to being "upset," but not belligerentCommon sense should wave a flag hereIf you can't see the flag, the first (twenty-four) hour notice, with the Impound Hearing request form might make you think you should at least speak with Speed'sThe certified letter which was not accepted may have been worth her time to readJoe was "asked" to sign the registration card as proof that she left the titleIf indeed she felt this was payment in full, she would have asked for and received a receipt which would be marked payment in fullI have yet to find this in any of my recordsIf *** would please show us her copy, saying paid in full, I would be gratefulWhen we are in receipt of this, I will be willing to drop this matter
