I was scheduled for a room carpet cleaning for $with Speed Dry Carpet Cleaning through my home warranty insurance specialI contacted Speed Dry to set up the appointment and informed them that I had area rugs; no mention was made to any change in the priceThe technician arrived and in a very heavy accent mentioned $69; I admit that due to the accent I didn't understand any but the number and thought that I had not recalled the price correctly so I said nothingOnce the cleaning was complete; he attempted to charge me $per rug; rugs that were much smaller, cheaper than a wall to wall carpet would beI was told by the technician that was the rule; area rugs are different than wall to wallI spoke to someone at the office who completely disregarded the special under which I was obtaining the serviceI paid the original special price but only after quite a lot of frustration and determination on my part
