The customer can resolve this issue by bringing the vehicle in for a speed checkThis would determine where the problem is and if it is not in the vehicle, I will be glad to give him a refund.Steve

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because I had already told Steve that the speed sensor on the transmission was replaced before I brought the instrument cluster to him, eliminating the possibility of the problem being in the vehicleHe purposely made it impossible for me to explain the symptoms to himI offered to go over the symptoms with him before he called his third party to pass the symptoms on and he refused to listen and then got them wrong againHe was angered at a returnHe got the symptoms wrong and made a bad diagnosis because of itHe apparently is still doing soI have explained that the problem is not in the truckMy 3-year mechanic, [redacted] at [redacted] in Tigard had already replaced the speed sensor for me to no avail, diagnosed it as an expensive instrument cluster repair and removed it for me so I could take it to SteveSteve doesn't hear people outWhy is it fair that I keep spending time waiting for him to? I called the shop where we sent the cluster to have repaired, and explained what [redacted] said was wrong with the repairWe were told that since the odometer was 10% off that the problem was not in the cluster, but in the vehicle [redacted] would not except that as a good answerIf he wants to bring in the vehicle, we can put it on the roller and check it that wayI have been doing business with the company I sent it to for over years, and feel he is telling me the truth.Steve
