Speedpro Carolinas Reviews (1)

After numerous calls to uphold the 3 year warranty agreement, I was told only the owner could help me. They never returned my call to repair my sign.On 11/13/2012 I paid $812.40 for a Partial Wrap on my company Van with 3M High Performance Cast Vinyl [redacted] and overlaminate (XXXX). Recently I have had issues with the decals peeling. Since the first week of May 2014, I have contacted them on numerous occasions to schedule a repair & try to resolve this matter but I have been repeatedly told by a and employee that she will speak with her boss ad that only the owner can help me. They have not made any attempts to contact me in two weeks to resolve this matter. My warranty does not expire until 2015.Desired SettlementI would like to have the defective areas repaired ASAP or be compensated to have another company properly repair the areas that are peeling.Business Response /[redacted]/Contact Name and Title: [redacted], PresidentContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]@speedprocarolinas.comWe do not offer a three year warranty on this product. This project was completed in November 2012. Our policy is to fully replace any defective vinyl or adhesion issues that arise during the first 60 days and will repair adhesion issues up to 12 months assuming there is no abnormal wear and tear. The expected life of a 3M vinyl wrap is around 3 years based on our experience, but we certainly do not advertise or convey a three (3) year warranty either verbally or in writing. This has been communicated to the customer. Would it be possible for the customer to provide evidence of the proposed warranty? We would like to solve this matter as soon as possible. Regards,Consumer Response /[redacted]/Although you say the expected life of a 3M vinyl wrap is around 3 years based on your experience, our photos clearly show the adhesive barely lasted 19 months. YOU say your policy is to fully replace any defective vinyl or adhesion issues that arise during the first 60 days and will repair adhesion issues up to 12 months assuming there is no abnormal wear and tear, why is that information not found on your invoice? YOU said the expected life of a 3M vinyl wrap is around 3 years based on YOUR experience although you do not advertise or convey a three (3) year warranty either verbally or in writing, it is NOT a coincidence that I had knowledge of a three (3) year warranty of this product. I had knowledge of this because this information was VERBALLY given to me at the time of purchase. If a product or services you provide usually lasts 3 years based on your experience and a customer returns in 19 months with an issue, how can you say "We would like to solve this matter as soon as possible" if you refuse to fix the peeling decal? This is the first response I have had received from your company in weeks through Revdex.com. Final Business Response /[redacted]/Per our initial Revdex.com response, we have never offered a three (3) year warranty on this product. We communicated to you that we do not offer such warranty in person, over the phone and through our Revdex.com response. The useful life of vehicle graphics can be impacted by vehicle care, weather and various other factors outside of our control. As a result we limit our repair/replacement policy to the time frame provided in our conversation with you and our initial Revdex.com response. We wish to resolve this matter quickly, as it is an illegitimate warranty claim. Please provide documentation if such warranty exists. As a courtesy to you, our sales manager offered to replace the decal at a discounted rate. We are happy to still honor the discounted rate should you wish to have the decal replaced.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Based on our unsatisfactory experience with the lack of quality in their work and customer service, I choose not accept Speedpro's discounted rate. As you have mentioned in a previous Revdex.com response, the expected life of a 3M vinyl wrap is around 3 years based on YOUR experience. This same information was given to me VERBALLY, as an agreement, in person. Based on OUR experience, the expected life of a 3M vinyl wrap is barely 19 months. I hope that potential customers will see by looking at the photos and invoice, (1) they will be unable to count on your word, (2) There is NO AGREEMENT LISTED ON YOUR INVOICE- Not even the agreement you mentioned in a previous Revdex.com response that you claim to honor, (3) The only way I was able to get a response (other than the person telling me they were unable to help me) was to go through Revdex.com.I will take this vehicle to be repaired elsewhere. I will not recommend anyone to your business and I hope potential customers can clearly see and are forewarned from my bad experience with your company.
