Wednesday August 17th to inquire about birthday parties at the speedwayShe spoke to my employee ( who was also working the night of the incident ) and was asking the difference with party rentals, track rentals and single/multiple ticket purchasesAt that time the customer told the employee that answered the call they will just choose to purchase tickets verses booking a "birthday party"The customer did not book a party, give a time or give a depositWhich is required for a track rental or birthday parties.Friday evening just before pm, the woman and the group came in and said she was here for the birthday partyThe female employee remembered the woman's name from the nights before. The customers purchased their tickets individuallyThe party purchased ride armbandsThe rides can be used on any of our tracks we offerWe have a total of go-karts divided through all four tracks on our premisesAt that time the customer did not ask how many karts were running on the tracksThey purchased their tickets and proceeded out the doorThe party went to the track of their choiceThe party chose the outdoor slick trackAt the start of their ride, ALL go-karts had been running and were ready for a group rideAs they loaded the party, the track attendant noticed there were two karts and their tires were low on air pressure ( karts had been running since noon that day )The attendant filled them with airAs they fired up the go-karts there was one kart that would not startThe rest of the party started their rideThe manager was trying to get the other kart started while the rest of the group began their riding around the trackThe manager did not yell at the female customerHe had asked the customer several times to hold her foot on the gas but with the other karts running it is hard to hear over themAfter several times he spoke very loud so she could hear him"Put your foot on the gas".The first group of nine riders completed their ride and then were starting their second ride when a belt broke on another kart, so they were down to eight carts and this is when the group became very vocal and belligerent to the employeesThe female employee working the register said the customer came in a said " I want my money back" She told the customer we don't offer refunds I will need to talk to my mangerThe same gentleman went to the manger demanding his money backThe manager went to the ticket counter and showed the gentleman where the sign was postedNo refundsSeveral members of the party began to argue and speak loud making employees uncomfortable along with other customers on our premisesThe counter employee was hiding behind the soda machine and wasn't comfortable, concerned with the yelling and screaming from several members of the groupOne track attendant came over and tried to calm the adults downHe was told by an adult in the group to "Shut the f*
