That location is VERY DIRTY if you don’t pay attention
They give you a cheap price on line with low miles
Go in and see 5000 more and will NOT lower the payment down

Post Sale Customer Care is severely lacking. I had read previous reviews regarding Speedway Dodge but still decided to give them a chance. The sales experience was good and the Salesperson was friendly, during the sale that is. The vehicle I bought was used (a 2018 Ram previously owned by the dealership owner) and was a good deal. There were some damaged pieces in the bed of the truck, missing the bed extender part of the RAM Cargo Management system (a $2000 factory option), and the hitch reducer was also missing. I inquired about the missing reducer and the damaged pieces when I bought the vehicle. Approximately 10 days later I went to the dealership to check on the pieces, this is when the experience turned sour. Speedway Dodge supplied me with a couple of the missing pieces (approx $25 parts) and then said that they would not give me the hitch reducer or the bed extender pieces to the Cargo Management system. They said that I bought the vehicle without them so it was on me. During my discussion with my sales person, another individual (I assume it was the owner) asked me about the damaged pieces in the bed of the vehicle. I took him to my truck and showed him and he said that the $25 parts they gave me would "cover up" the damaged pieces. He became angry when I said that a "cover up" was not right and he admitted that he had removed the bed extender to put on his new vehicle. I told him that this would be reflected in my review of the dealership and his answer was "Who gives a st." "Who gives a st" seems to be Speedway Dodge's attitude towards customers once the sale is complete. I will not be doing any future business with Speedway Dodge as they quickly reverted to the stereotypical "greasy car salesman" once they had my money. Up to this point my experience was good with them but they showed their true colors after the sale.

I purchased a new 2017 RAM 1500 Rebel from Speedway Chrysler, Dodge & Jeep on October of 2017. Since the purchase of the truck, it has been in the shop for service a total 6 times. With the exception of one time all attempted repairs have been for the same issue. The truck is equipped from the factory with air lift/air ride suspension. The air suspension makes it easier to get in and out of by lowering the truck into entry/exit mode. This is a very important feature for me due to my wife being pregnant with our son. The truck air suspension has several issues ranging from not staying lowered, raising back up to normal height by itself and not knowing what mode its in when attempting to raise or lower the truck.

I have almost fell out of the vehicle thinking the truck was in entry/exit mode and the truck had raised itself back to normal height and I was not expecting to have to make a longer step down. When the truck is in entry/exit mode the bottom of the truck is 12" from the ground, when the truck is in normal height it sits at 16" from the ground. The fact that the truck will raise itself with no input from the driver is dangerous, especially when my pregnant wife is driving the vehicle.

I have spoken to Speedway Dodge and requested that they purchase the vehicle back due to the truck being in the shop five times for the same issue, they have had the truck a total of 40 days and they still can not reproduce the issue even though I have supplied them with video footage of the truck not functioning properly.

The truck is not even a year old and I have had multiple issues. Not counting the air lift suspension, the truck was in the shop and had to have the entire rear window replaced due to manufacturer defect, the cruise control switch had to be replaced due to failure, exterior weather stripping had to be replaced due to being defect, I have had an air bag light come on for no reason and my driver windshield wiper arm had to be refitted due to misalignment from the manufacturer.

Speedway of Lansing Chrysler Dodge Jeep & Ram Response • Sep 06, 2018

SUBJECT: Revdex.com COMPLAINT ***
The customer has expressed concern that the new truck he purchased 10.13.2017 won’t raise and lower its air suspension for entry and exit which makes it difficult to get in and out. The dealership has extensively tested the vehicle on 5 occasions and we are unable to duplicate the concern.
I spoke to the customer on 7.19.18 and told him I would contact the FCA District Service Manager for assistance. I called the customer to tell him FCA will investigate the possibility of financial assistance to trade him into a new vehicle. He refused and said he wants his money back. I explained to him that due to the fact that we are unable to duplicate the problem and that this issue wouldn’t qualify as a major product defect or a safety issue neither our dealership or FCA are willing to refund his money.

Thank You,

I am rejecting this response because:the dealership has been shown almost 20 minutes of video footage showing the issues that are taking place with a vehicle. It is not my fault as the consumer that the vehicle does not malfunction when the dealership has the vehicle in their possession I was asked by the service department to get to the vehicle to malfunction which I have done and again have proved in video footage that they have all seen.the dealership states that they are unable to reproduce the issues however they have not been able to show me proof that they cannot reproduce the issue.Again I am limited by what I can do with the vehicle I have shown them the video proof explicitly showing the exact issues at the truck has however this is not enough for them as they they have stated to me.This past time that the vehicle is in the shop it was in there for over 2 weeks and when I talked with the service writer that took my vehicle in they told me that after the first week they hadn't even touched the vehicle. The vehicle was dropped off on the 13th of August 2018 after the 20th of August they no longer looked at the vehicle and I did not receive the vehicle back until after Labor Day which was September 3rd, after they stop looking at it the vehicle proceeded to set at the dealership with no attempted service to be performed on the vehicle and I was not kept in the loop of what was going on.When I finally received a call from Will *** the general service manager he stated to me that they could not help me and when I questioned him on why no one had returned my phone call he stated that they did not care to return my phone call because they could not work with me.
Regards

The unit has been checked repeatedly but we are unable to duplicate the concern. FCA has agreed to try to trade the customer into another Ram but he has refused to consider another Ram. We have no further options available.

I am rejecting this response because:I as the consumer should not be tied to purchasing another vehicle from Speedway Dodge in Lansing, everyone besides the service writer are extremely rude and will not return phone calls. Ever since these issues have started I have been told they would not help me.

Speedway Dodge has zero customer service, when I get told by their general shop manager Will *** that the reason why no one will call me back is due to the owners "Not wanting to talk to me because they can't help me." Is poor customer service, why can't they tell me that themselves?

The one owner (Dan) I orginally spoke with very early in this process told me they would not help me, when I questioned him on why, he stated "It not feasible" I then asked him what information he based it not being feasible on, he stated You're right, I don't know. Let me call you back."

He had to got look up the information that wasn't "feasible" for the dealership.

Regards
