This letter is in response to Revdex.com complaint ID #***
After reviewing our point of sa le system we could not find a record of *** *** * * *** getting serviceat our Federal Way facilityIn talking with the Branch Manager who dealt with Mr***, he told Mr.*** he cou ld not
find his service record for the Nissan Maxima and then asked Mr*** ifhe had a receipt and Mr*** said no
So we have no proof - either in our point of sale system or a receipt to prove that Speedy Glass was thecompany that performed the service in However we offered Mr*** the option to set up arepair either under his insurance coverage or on a cash basis which Mr*** refused
Also, the request for a refund is unwarranted as we have no documentation of payment being made and Mr.*** made the decision to take the day off not Speedy GlassIt also takes minutes to do a rock chiprepair- not an entire day- so asking for a full refund is unwarranted and unreasonableWe would be happyto repair Mr***'s windshield- provided it still can be repaired - at no cha rge to resolve the situation.Please feel free to call me if you have any other questions and thank you for the opportunity to respond tothis complaint

Thank you for this follow up.  Yes, the correct window has now been installed to our satisfaction.  I explained that the letter to our house buyer would be requested if needed, which it was completely in a timely manner, so no letter was needed.  We are confused about the statement that they replaced the correct window from the original information.  I have not seen the notes that were taken at the time of measuring, but surely they would have indicated the correct window, at the time of measuring, which had a sticker on it (2nd window from Left.) I am not sure if this was recorded incorrectly at the time of measure or not.  THere was never any confusion on our part.  THere was only one large window that fogged up and that is the one that needed replacing.We are concerned that I have left several messages for manager Jen to call me.  She did return one phone call early in the process, but has not called since that time, even though I have continued to leave messages.  Our frustration at this point is that manager Erik was very short with me on the phone, when we were trying to work this out and before the end of the call, he accused me of lying about which window was needing to be replaced.   When I explained that the window in question had a sticker on it at measure and I was clear about which one it was and he said, "Or did you?" Questioning my honesty.    With a project this large I cannot imagine ever having the forethought, dishonesty, or energy to surmise such a plan.  This is absolutely ridiculous and has left a negative impression.  This is what I would like to discuss with Jen, as this type of management is not ideal.  Complaint: [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern, In response to Mrs. [redacted] letter of complaint, I would like to start by saying yes, this job took a considerable amount of time to complete. The bid process took longer than expected due to the numerous times the original bid was added to or changed completely, slowing down...

the process. When a final bid was agreed upon product was ordered, taking time as well due to the fact some of the specialty items needed to be ordered from the states. This part of the process should not have taken as long as it did, however, our supplier experienced some delays in their process as well.   Regarding the specific complaint of the wrong window being replaced, all indications show the correct window was replaced. Not wanting to delay the sale of Mrs. [redacted] house any further, even when a letter of explanation was offered for potential buyers and denied by Mrs. [redacted], as a company we decided to take a loss and replace the additional window at no charge.
