I went into the service center on Friday January 12 at 930 am for a safety on our car.
When I was ready to Find out the results the guy there first told me I need a new bumper which was barely loose and when I said I will just get it screwed in or glue it he said no it would need a new bumper to pass.
Also he said that the new battery that the dealer put in was sliding all over the place and that they put in the wrong one.
I got very upset and told them that They just want money and making things up because I was at my regular mechanic a week prior and he said that the bumper was secured enough to pass the safety and I also showed it to him after leaving this location as well as the battery and he told me there was nothing wrong with either.
I paid 111.87 by *** for this safety and now they said I cant come back because of getting upset and they owe me the pass papers after fixing this or my money refunded since I have to go to someone else now and start over.
They said even the rest of my family cant go back to finish this safety even if they had no part in this.
I do admit that I did get very upset and feel that they were taking advantage though from this situation to get a lot of money from me for unnecessary work knowing from my regular mechanic this.
I went in there to save money and came out paying more for nothing.
If they don't want me back they need to refund my money.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking that they refund my money i paid or a big portion of it since they are not letting me get my papers and I have to go else where and start over. I paid for a full safety and now not getting anything for what I paid. Yes they did spend time doing the safety but they are not letting myself, my daughter or husband to return there after fixing the problem to get the safety papers. If they are not finishing the whole job I went there for why did I pay them the whole 111.87 which includes the pass papers.

Mrs. had brought her 2013 *** in for safety. One of the vehicles brake lights was not working the battery was incorrect, therefore it was sliding around in the battery tray and the front bumper was hit and not properly attached.

Please note that according to the MTO safety act.

Section 6 lamps sub 1a ,(brake light) - fails to illuminate fully and correctly in response to the switch or control.

Section 7 Electrical System sub 2a - states - missing, insecure, does not meet OEM standard - battery is not secured in place.

Section 8 body sub A under bumper - states
- missing, modified, inferior to original OEM design (width, size, structural integrity) or incorrect for the vehicle - broken, misaligned, loose or missing structure, supporting structure, or fasteners.

We are not trying to rip anyone off here. We are just following the safety standards act!

Also take note of why she came here as she stated herself. "OUR PRICE WAS CHEAPER"

Once this was brought to her attention Mrs. got extremely agitated and started swearing very loudly in front of a waiting room full of customer making them really uncomfortable.

We have had problems like this in the past with Mrs. and that is why she is no longer welcome here.
My employees do not deserve to be called names or sworn at.

I was and still asking for a refund partial or whole for the money I paid them and received no safety papers because they refused me to come back to receive the papers which in turn I went to another garage who did the safety, passed it no problem and they let me know none of their items should of stopped them from passing the safety from this car except for the light. This is why I got upset but did not call anyone swear names just said in front of one lady in waiting room no one else was there, that they are ripping me off because the other garage already informed me the bumper would pass safety and the battery was so secure and correct that it took him all force to move it an inch.
I was there in the past almost 10 years ago and was ripped off then but needed to save money and thought I would give them another chance but see they are still not for customers but do anything to cheat someone out of money. Only when I mentioned that I would go on *** and let everyone know my experience is when they denied me to come back.
So im still looking for some compensation for the money that I'm out only
