Review: Contractor [redacted] did not complete the construction job on Annunciation St in New Orleans, LA and was paid. Contractor started on the project December 2013 and was payment accordingly per his contract. Contractor [redacted] go to the last phase of our home and starting stealing from our property. Contractor also put items on our ticket at Home Depot when he was not authorized to do so. Mr. [redacted] decided to send a text meesage stating that out contract was terminated after we had questioned him about belongins being taking from our property. I have tried to contact Mr. [redacted] on several occasions but there was no response. Now our house is unfinish and we have to find money to get another contractor out to finish the job. [redacted] also gave a fake license# [redacted] as we check with LA state contractors and nothing came up. [redacted] was also caught drinking on the job and coming back to the work sight smelling like marajuana. [redacted] should be prosecuted.Desired Settlement: I would like for [redacted] to refund us ALL the money because he did not complete his work and to return the stolen goods or give us the money for them. Also from my understanding a contract can not be voided by text message and needs to addressed with an Attorney and court. [redacted] should be prosecuted and still have to pay the cost or complete our house per contract agreement with the supervision of court orders.[redacted] also owes the Myles family a sincere apology.
