To whom it may concern,This is in reference to Revdex.com complaint ID # ***This customer came in for an oil change on 7/and we performed the service and added the proper amount of oil to his vehicleOn 8/the customer returned complaining of excessive smokeWe could not verify the
source of the smoke since it did not have any external leaksWe cleaned the engine area, topped off oil, and added a tracer dyeWe advised the customer to return in a week and we can check againIf there is a leak the tracer dye will show us whereCustomer returned on 8/complaining of vehicle running rough and oil is low againWe diagnosed the vehicle and there was no sign of tracer dye, indicating there was still no external leakWe checked further since there was still the issue of smoke and excessive oil consumptionAt that point we found oil in the air intake off of the turbo and that should not be thereIf this is the case, there is a failure of one of the seals inside the turbo which allows for the oil to seep into the air intakeThe recommended repair is to replace the turbo due to the failed seal or seals internallyThe failure of the seals is in no way the fault of the customer as he indicatedThe seals fail due to wear and tear and cannot be caused by an oil change or not adding enough oil, Seals in the turbo are not accessible and cannot be damaged by anyoneThis is an unfortunate situation that the customer feels is the fault of the repair shop, only because we changed his oil

While their internet advertising is not illegal it is very deceptive and created to give the impression that a vehicle will be sold for a price that in realty is never going to be sold for the amount listed. The price shown is based on qualifying for a group of 6-8 rebates that you must qualify for. You have to qualify for all of the rebates not just one. The disclaimer is not on the page of the vehicle that you are looking at but on their home page. There is not indication on the price to show that you should look for a footnote disclaimer.

My wife and I are Completely disappointed with our experience with your dealership, we went in there with a Suburban that we were interested in purchasing. I explained to the sales person that getting us approved would be difficult, and he told me that if we got him what he needed that he could get it done. So we did and we were still turned down, which we kind of expected so he then gave us another option to try. Since we have gone that route we have been getting nothing but the run around. We have called numerous times asking that they give the financial institute they suggest, they say that they have sent all the forms and when we call the financial institute they say we haven't received any information. We call our salesman and now aren't getting answers. We have never felt so disrespected when dealing with a dealership, and some of the people there seem to have bad attitudes. Had I acted this way when I sold cars I would have been fired. We will never shop here again, and we're just appalled by the service

To whom it may concern,This is in reference to Revdex.com complaint ID # [redacted]This customer purchased a vehicle from us on a Friday and was treated more than fair. We discounted the car before we sold it and he declined purchasing any additional coverage for his vehicle. This would indicate that...

this gentleman was a smart shopper and of complete sound and mind. On Saturday morning his son called stating that he wanted to return the car and get his old car back. A couple hours later the customer showed up to give us his title for his trade in vehicle. Why would he sign over his title if he wanted to return the purchase and get his old car back? Speaking to the customer at that time, he indicated that he wanted the new car and the trade in had a bad transmission and was not drivable. On Monday I spoke to the customer's son again and he indicated that they wanted to return the car. At that time | denied the request based on what had happened up until this point. The customer's son offered me $1000 to make the issue go away and when I declined, continued to berate me and made threats. A friend of the customer contacted me a week later; she requested that return the traded in vehicle and that would be a fair resolution to the complaint. I made arrangements to have his car towed to his house and did not request the money back that paid for the trade. I feel that we have done nothing unethical, illegal or immoral in our business dealings.

Review: I took my car in for a oil change they didn't put enough oil in and the seal to the Turbo charger blew. they are saying it was my fault Wrong! I have documentaion of everything ever done to this car and not one! NOT ONE! has any mechcanic said anything was wrong with the seals. I took the car back the next day because white smoke was blowing out my tail pipe. Their Machanic said there wasn't enough oil in the engine they had to add 1 1/2 quarts, oil wasn't even showing on the dip stick. They want to charge me $3000. for repairs for something I didn't doDesired Settlement: Just fix what broke because of what you didn't do correctly

To whom it may concern,This is in reference to Revdex.com complaint ID # [redacted]This customer came in for an oil change on 7/31 and we performed the service and added the proper amount of oil to his vehicle. On 8/4 the customer returned complaining of excessive smoke. We could not verify the source of the smoke since it did not have any external leaks. We cleaned the engine area, topped off oil, and added a tracer dye. We advised the customer to return in a week and we can check again. If there is a leak the tracer dye will show us where. Customer returned on 8/28 complaining of vehicle running rough and oil is low again. We diagnosed the vehicle and there was no sign of tracer dye, indicating there was still no external leak. We checked further since there was still the issue of smoke and excessive oil consumption. At that point we found oil in the air intake off of the turbo and that should not be there. If this is the case, there is a failure of one of the seals inside the turbo which allows for the oil to seep into the air intake. The recommended repair is to replace the turbo due to the failed seal or seals internally. The failure of the seals is in no way the fault of the customer as he indicated. The seals fail due to wear and tear and cannot be caused by an oil change or not adding enough oil, Seals in the turbo are not accessible and cannot be damaged by anyone. This is an unfortunate situation that the customer feels is the fault of the repair shop, only because we changed his oil.

Review: [redacted], an 89 yr old male, purchased a 2012 [redacted] on July 25. He financed the car at the exorbitant rate of 9.4%. The next day, realizing he would not be able to afford the car, he attempted to return it and was denied by Russ S[redacted], GM of Spencer Chevrolet. Though not illegal, this practice is certainly unethical and immoral, causing undue stress and anguish to an elderly person.Desired Settlement: return the car to Spencer Chevrolet.
