Review: Pumps often malfunction. Credit card purchases attempted at the pump are often referred to the cashier where client must give an amount for gas purchase. Public school issued credit card purchases at the pump are always referred to the cashier. If the total amount charged to the credit card is more than the gas pumped, clients are given cash back versus a credit to their account. Clients CAN NOT get the owed amount credited to their account even upon request. This inflates total charged on the client's credit card and the total to calculate their monthly interest on the card. It also inflates charge purchased for the company.Clients using company issued credit cards must keep track of the change to return to the company which creates a potential for negligence or fraud. The initial receipt does not have detail of purchase, only total of initial request which is an accountability issue for auditors.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to make sure clients can get their cards credited for amount owed versus it being mandatory that they get cash back. The sales staff should be trained to do this. I would like the company audited to determine why the cash back policy is in place.
