association, the service encourages residents to be current on their assessments by rewarding them with positive impacts to their score and helps the Homeowners Associations (nonprofit), reduce delinquencies, lower legal costs and reduce the need for additional funding such as Special Assessments or increases to their regular assessments. Based on our interactions with this consumer, the concern is focused on how the account is  being displayed on her credit report, not the substance of what is being reported. The consumer was informed via email sent on February 21, 2017 that the credit bureau is reporting the account under a temporary trade line: “Secured Loan type.” The credit bureau is working to update this as soon as reasonably possible to more clearly delineate Homeowner Association Assessments.  As required by FCRA, when we receive a consumer dispute, we have to complete a thorough investigation of what was reported to the credit bureaus.  We investigated the dispute directly with [redacted] and verified that the information [redacted] furnished to the credit bureau related to the consumer’s account is accurate.  The consumer’s account is paid current and the consumer has had a positive impact to their credit score and was not adversely affected by the reporting of this trade line.  Best regards, [redacted]Vice President of Operations4450 MacArthur Blvd., Suite 100Newport Beach CA 92660Office: 949-873-0608 ¦ Mobile: 949-394-8514h.[redacted]@sperlongadata.comwww.sperlongadata.com
