Revdex.com Case #[redacted]A review of the correspondence including emails between the customer and the agent has been conducted.  Premiums, which are set by the insurance company for the product in question, are based on payroll as reported by the customer; the customer reported variable payroll amounts to the agent on different occasions which in turn caused a change in premium.  If the payroll reported is different each time a premium is quoted, then the resulting premium in turn will also be different.Health insurance policies are written by the carriers on an annual automatic renewal basis.  The renewal offer goes out to each client directly from the insurance carrier each year prior to renewal and states the policy will renew as indicated in the renewal offer unless the customer instructs the carrier to make changes or requests a cancellation.  As the customer states, as per the final correspondence with the agent the customer “never responded” so therefore no changes were processed and the policy automatically renewed as per the renewal offer sent from the carrier.The customer states the agent submitted a new plan without the customer authorization.  This is false, nothing was submitted.  The policy automatically renewed as the carrier stated.The customer states the agent submitted documentation to the Marketplace lowering the customer’s income.  This is false, nothing was submitted to the Marketplace without the customer’s authorization.The customer states that she desires another agent service her policy.  The other agent can provide the customer with a document to name him as agent of record and file it with the insurance carrier.  The customer’s desired settlement is to have her agent paid and for the current agent to have compensation taken away.  Laws governing how commissions are handled would prevent a company from compensating another agent not licensed through them.  Upon review, it appears thecurrent agent has received total compensation of $5.50 for the account in question this year.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
5 documents... 1. Dec 10,2015 income 19,000.002. Feb 17,2016 income 22,000.003. Oct 11,2016 Renewal stating Jan 2017 will renew $154.56 I would say this is based on Feb        2016 Income. 4. Sent during open enrollment Nov 1-Dec 15 ,2016  Jan 1,2017 will renew $154.56. I would say this is based on Feb 2016 income 5. Dec 13,2016 income 18,997.88  This was after you had sent your contract in,( which was early Dec) then she sent her contract in and canceled out yours. So that shows income was changed.
