Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The Pleasant Prairie RecPlex has failed to provide the documentation that I allowed them to withdrawal from my current banking account I received an email that they would stop transactions from after July and this was without having a canalization form I find it very convenient that the establishment was able to produce the original contract with the original voided check I provided for them to withdrawal from my Bank account via Bank of Kenosha however have yet to provide a voided out check from North Shore bank or any other documentation where I authorized them to withdrawal from North Shore Bank.I did close the account in December and I am very aware of this as I was let go of position for work via lack of work available in December The fact that thePleasant Prairie RecPlex is unable to find this documentation along with the documentation that allowed them to charge my account at North Shore Bank is unfortunate However this does not mean that during this time the membership was just not in use It literally was thought that there was no longer a membership in existence.I want to be refunded via the Pleasant Prarie RecPlex and do not feel that due to there lack of documentation control I should be penalized/robbed from my own money.The Pleasant Prairie RecPlex is not a small establishment and mistakes happen I am asking that they recognize their faults with the fact that they do not have my cancellation on file as it was done so I am asking that they refund me for the months it was to be cancelled and after I cancelled I should of never had to check my account for the charges over the months.I want to be refunded for the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex long outstanding error in documentatiuon and accounting AT NO POINT AND TIME HAVE I EVER AUTHORIZED THE "PLEANSANT PRAIRIE RECPLEX" TO WITHDRAWAL FROM MY NORTH SHORE BANK ACCOUNT!!!!The Pleasant Prairie RecPlex can not even provide proof that I ever allowed access to my Checking Account at North Shore Bank They only insist I need to provide proof of a cancellation form I find if very suspicious they can send the original contract with the original voided out check from Bank of Kenosha and yet they have yet to send anything to back up they had permission so use my North Shore Bank Account and Conveniently Have no canalization letter for my membershipONCE AGAIN! This is NOT a Request to be refunded for NON-USE OF A MEMBERSHIP!!! This is a request to be refunded for the membership that was cancelled NOT FORGOTTEN OR NOT USED during the Month of December to July My Apologies this is now to be refunded for the error in The lack of documentation on the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex side for the canalization during the months the months of December to May since they have graciously accepted their error and have refunded me for the months of June for $and July for $in the total amount of $already through my North Shore Bank Account after they realized they did indeed make a mistake on charging a checking account they should not be charging Unfortunately my bank can only go back two months So in the end I still expect the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex to do the honorable thing in this situation and refund me during the months that the memberships were in fact cancelled and my membership was wrongfully charged to a checking account they had no authorization to charge this is covered under the federal law and I will continue to fight the municipality in regards to this until it is resolved As I NEVER GAVE PERMISSION FOR THE PLEASANT PRAIRIE RECPLEX TO WITHDRAWAL FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT AT NORTH SHORE BANK.I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE DEBATE IS ABOUT BESIDES THE FACT THEY HAVE STOLEN FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT AND ARE TRYING TO GIVE A LAME COMPREHENSION OF THE SITUATION AS THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE NO CANCELLATION FORM ON FILE.......AT NO POINT DOES THIS EVEN PROVE THEY HAD PERMISSION FROM ME TO BEGIN CHARGING THE CHECKING ACCOUNT!Once again I request to be refunded in the full amount from December to July 2015...I am sorry from December to May now....(since they already recognized their fault and refunded me for June and July 2015)(and all this done and no more charges being taken out since july even with out a canalization form....and it was stated they had to have one....yet they didn't to quit withdrawal from my account after July after I contacted the Revdex.com and after I contacted my bank)I am a veteran and I am a single mother and the additional charges from the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex could have been going to medical bills and other bills as I had thought The fact that they are refusing to refund me for this shows their values as a community and a corporation! ONCE AGAIN AT NO POINT DID I EVER AUTHORIZE PLEASANT PRAIRIE RECPLEX TO WITHDRAWAL FROM MY North Shore Checking Account! AT NO POINT HAVE THE Pleasant Prairie RecPlex Provided Proof that I authorized them to Withdrawal from my North Shore Checking Account and I expect the full Cooperation and complete acceptance of their fault of loosing the cancellation form and Refunding My Checking Account of the Illegal Charges transaction that were withdrawn from my North Shore Checking Account by the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex address of [redacted] Thank you in advance for the cooperation from the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex as I know they will do the honorable thing in this situation [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I did cancel my membership in December it is convenient that they can’t find my cancellation form and they state they can only cancel the membership with this. Hover in the email you will find that they state they will no longer charge my account and that they will cancel the membership now.There also is the issue with they charged a checking account that I never gave them permission to charge. When I did ask for the proof that I gave them permission to charge this account they only sent me the voided check from an old checking account along with the original contract.At no point did they have permission to use my checking account. I did just get refunded for two months via my bank when I filed a complaint with them in person last week. However the two months is nowhere near close to the amount of money they took out of my account illegally. I would like this pursued and I would like a refund for the additional months they had been charging my account. They claim they don’t refund on basis of nonuse however this was not the reason asking for a refund.I’m a single mom who thought this was going to a medical bill. Now the medical bill is in collections and I’m out a lot of money due to the fact the facility will not accept they perhaps lost my cancellation form? Either way them saying I didn’t fill one out and the only way to cancel it and then stating they would cancel my account in an email without the form proves the form doesn’t matterI know I cancelled in December when I was let go of my job. I asked multiple times for them to provide where I signed or gave them permission to charge my bank account and they have yet to provide this information.Please I’d like to further pursue this until I am fully refunded since my bank could only go back two monthsOriginal bank account was Bank of Kenosha the new bank account is North Shore Bank. They still have not shown anything where I gave them my account information for North Shore Bank

I have nothing to add to this complaint in regards to the additional information received on August 17th. RecPlex staff is sorry that Ms. [redacted] did not utilize the many amenities that RecPlex has to offer during her membership.  She continues to state that she canceled her membership in December 2013 but still cannot provide any documentation to that effect. RecPlex handles memberships and cancellations routinely and would not purposefully disregard or fail to respond to a cancellation request. The fact that Ms. [redacted] failed to understand what the automatic withdrawal from her bank account was for and that the automatic withdrawals continued following a change in ownership are situations to be resolved  between Ms. Wurtzinger, the financial institution and her creditors. We are standing by our cancellation policy and will not be refunding any fees to Ms. [redacted]

Ms. [redacted] did not follow the cancellation policy that she agreed to when she signed her membership contract. We have no record of the cancellation request nor can she produce one other than her saying she canceled. When her bank, Bank of Kenosha, was bought out by NorthShore Bank, the...

bank sent us an automatic notification of change to make the changes to her bank account. I am assuming Ms. [redacted] authorized her bank to send out the notifications. We receive many of these changes on a weekly basis and processed this change as we do all the banking changes that we receive. The RecPlex regrets that Ms. [redacted] has not used her membership but we have a clear policy not to refund past membership fees for non-use of the facility or failure to cancel a membership. Please contact me if you have any further questions. Sincerely, [redacted]Director of RecreationRecPlexWe receive a262-925-6736
