Dropped my truck off 4-24-for head gasket repair, and other replacement parts which the mechanic there at Spirit Ford said I should replace while he was working on itAfter finally receiving my truck back on 5-18-17,it didnt seem to run right
I drove my truck up north that weekend and it had very poor acceleration from a stop the entire timeI drove the truck to work that following Monday morning and started smelling oil burning on the way into my complexThe truck stopped running as I pulled into the parking lot and it had a GIANT puddle of oil under itHad it towed to Spirit Ford and they replaced the oil pressure sensor and charged me to do soI received the truck back on 5-26-
I continued to drive the truck with poor acceleration until 6-7-when it became nearly impossible to do so safelyI took it back to the

Spirit Ford deceived me on a new vehicle sale
On November 14th, I purchased a Ford XLT from
Spirit Ford in Dundee MichiganWhen I ordered the vehicle
the salesperson informed me that the vehicle I wanted wasn't
in stock and he would have to obtain it from another dealer
I explicitly stated that I wanted a navigation system in the
vehicle and was told that I would be required to purchase
equipment package 302A at a cost of $5,which
contained syncWhen I asked why I needed syncI was told
that it was required in order to have a navigation system
When I went to pick the vehicle up, the dealership had taken
the window sticker off the truckI asked about the syncoption
and was shown that it was in the dashboardAfter signing the
contract and taking control of the truck, an employee of Spirit
Ford showed me the basics of the vehicleWhen I asked about
the navigation system I was told that the truck didn't have it

Hello, I'm a customer that feels cheated and taken advantage of by Spirit FordI worked with a used salesman by the name of *** By the way I live in Southfield, Michigan and Spirit ford is located in Dundee many miles from my homeI decided to take this trip because of the promises that I had been madeI was desperately in need of a pickup truck and *** says" I have many"After the long drive I was shown the pickup truck, and indeed it was niceI sat down with the finance guy *** *** and went over the purchase agreement, first of all, he broke down the payments in weeks, then said that" Spirit Ford was giving me a year warranty", along with GAP insurance, the ending balance would be, I needed a Co Signer, I let him know my sister was willing to finish the dealI signed my name on the dotted lines and the papers would be sent to my sisterWhen my sister received the papers , we went over them , Spirit Ford was not giving me the year warranty, I had purchased that for and there was numerous added charges What are taxable charges of labor, and service of 3796.00, and also electronic filling fees of 24.00? Service employees do as little as possible to help resolve a car's problem
I had my Focus all of weeks before it started giving me problemsIt hesitated when trying to merge onto the highway or pass, with the tachometer hitting At a stop sign it did a horrible downshift that jerked the entire car before coming to a dead stopTook it in, paid $for a diagnostic only to be told nothing is wrong with itI got not even halfway home when the same thing happened, with the exception of the tach hitting They insist there is no problem and somehow I think they would take me more seriously if I wasn't a womanI'll wait a couple more days until I get stuck on the side of the road and need a tow and then I'll call them againMaybe then they will believe meBuyer beware is right!
