I received a letter at the end of July indicating that since my checking account was not used since 10-28-2014, Spirit of Alaska has closed the accountI called to find out why they did this and was told that because they have a $10/month dormant charge there was no money left in the accountI had no knowledge they had dormant account fees and I never received any notification prior to this letter indicating "ADVERSE ACTION." I was told that I was required to check on-lineSince they were able to send me an "ADVERSE ACTION" letter why were they not able to let me know there would be fees charged to my account because of inactivity? They also closed my savings account stating it did not have the required membership share of $and has been dormant for over days! I have no idea how much was in either of these accounts and feel the money was inappropriately taken from meI received notices to purchase life insurance from Spirit of Alaska but never received any
