Good afternoon [redacted],Mr. [redacted] took his vehicle to Spitzer Chevrolet to have the high pressure fuel pump concern addressed. The pump is under the hood. From what I can understand in Mr. Stacknick's complaint is that the heat/defrost/air conditioning mode doors are not operating. The tech...

working on the underhood repair would have not done anything that would cause the door(s) to malfunction. It take as much as 5 hours to repair a center door or as little as 1.5 hours to repair some others. If the defroster wasn't operating properly, I would assume that due to weather conditions during Jan and Feb that the dealership would have been alerted prior to 30 days.I have discussed the situation with Mr. Joe M[redacted], Service Manager, and he has agreed to waive the diagnostic fee if Mr. [redacted] would like to take the vehicle back to Amherst. He will also do the repairs (if needed) at a discounted rate for Mr. Stacknick. He will be provided with a complete estimate prior to repairs beginning.Should Mr. [redacted] wish to have the sticking caliper repaired, Mr. M[redacted] will also perform this safety related repair at a discount.

shows an accident. He then told me it was for a different car. They completely ignored that I had mentioned this and is trying to say it happened after arik. We bought the car in July and we had 2 carfaxes For same car but the salesman took it to hide the fact it was in a car accident. Instead makes it look line it is no big deal that we were given false information. I'm pretty sure carfax could possibly see when a carfax was pulled on a vehicle and I can guarantee there was one pulled the day we bought the equinox. If I were a reputable dealer I would of done anything I could to make it right, instead they act like it's no big deal. I just wonder what legal action can be taken against this.
