To whom it may concern: I am the owner of SPL Waterhousings Inc and the person who answered all conversations with [redacted]
The first email we received from her she was having some issues with the housingWe asked her to send a photo and we could clearly see that she did not follow the instructionsThe instructions clearly state not to over tighten the pistol grip and to only tighten the nuts down quarter turns each nutHad she followed the instructions there is no way possible for the damage that occurred to our product to happen. Even if they over tightened the part and followed the instructions not to keep everything tight and to loosen when finished using the part would not have been ruined. We responded almost instantly to her inquiry like we do with everyone. Our warranty is clearly stated months against manufacturer defects. This issue that she had was not a defect
We then offered a discount on the part that she destroyed and she kept trying to get us to sell it to her for cheaper
We fully understand that not all people are mechanically inclined and for this reason we have made videos and have fully explained how to tighten our equipmentWe have included a copy of the instructions that go out with each and every housing we sellPlease reference number for the issue at hand

I am not surprised of SPL Waterhousing's reply.  SPL Waterhousing offers excuses and blames the consumer (in error) for causing any damages to their product that obviously does not stand the test of time.
In this short period of time the customer has owned the product,  the manufacturer of the product , should instead stand behind their product and quickly and gladly assist customers with the appropriate repairs needed ; Especially with an item of this cost to a consumer near $2000.00.
Instead SPL Waterhousing, has in fact , 1. quickly, blamed the customer 2. tried to sell the customer more products 3. to have the consumer fix it themselves,  barring any in house warranties. 
In lieu, of a full refund, the very least they should do is send the consumer the replacement part, for no charge, which I would accept as a resolution, only at this time.
