Splash Down Concessions, Inc

Review: We had decided to purchase a splashdown summer season pass at the end of May 2013 for our family. Our intention was to use it about three times a week when we went to town, only to find out it was a complete waste of money spent. We have been to Splashdown a total of four times this summer an unfortunately didn't have an enjoyable experience at any point. One time it was 72 degrees and counting and Splashdown was closed and the remaining three times we were all left to push our way down all but one slide and the water was so cold it left the kiddos chattering their teeth. Because of the lack of enjoyment we never stayed longer than an hour and every time we inquired about the hang ups of the facility we were always told they were sorry but they were having trouble with a new system that was put in. I did call the owner and shared my thoughts of it being a waste of money for my family and the kids had no desire to return and ask if a refund would be possible and she declined. I wouldn't have an issue with the no refund policy if we could have enjoyed our purchase just one time, but we didn't. We don't plan on ever returning to the facility because of how poorly we were serviced and would love some absolution to the situation. Two hundred and fifty dollars is a lot of money to not have a little enjoyment, and we feel the right thing for the owner to do is to compensate us. On a bright note; the life guards were very nice.
