Complaint* ***
I am rejecting this response because:Swirl marks can happenBut not to the degree of had after this washI take good care of my care and usually do this work myself unless it is extremely cold outsideThese marks were not there, and they track from top to bottom along the sides of the carThis was caused by the equipment that spins across the side of the car while cleaningIf the car is properly washed before going into the wash, which most times it is not, then it would reduce the chances of this happeningAlso dirty equipment can cause this issue as wellI can not believe the amount of swirls from one washThe paint was in great condition before as can be seen on other panels of the car that those particular machines don't reachI look forward to your call.
Sincerely,

We contacted the customer and provided the desired services at his convenience.

As requested by the customer, a $36.15 refund was issued on 3/16/18.

"Swirl marks" are a common condition on the surfaces of cars most noticeable after the car has been washed. The crazing of the clearcoat layer is caused by anything that comes into contact with it, including grit and sand from driving on the highway. A regular application of a coat of wax on the car...

provides a sacrificial layer to protect the clearcoat from crazing. We will contact the customer directly to resolve their complaint.

Review: had my oil changed there in august never been to this shop before. had I done there because I was in the area and it needed to be done. never had problems with the car other that little things like breaks and tires before. on nov 9 I was driving to work and I heard a funny sound from my car. I pulled off the next exit and called for an tow. the driver checked my car cause the check engine and oil light came on. he told me that I had no oil in it. I went to work and put some oil in the car when I got off. the noise was still there. I called the shop where I got the work done. The asked if I could drive it there or have it towed there so the could look at it.I had the car towed to my house cause I work for AAA. splash asset manger said he would have some one come to my home to have a look at it.He took a few pic and looked around. Said he had to talk to the manager and to call the next day. I called the next day and told my story. He really didn't seem to care and told me I had to go up there and fill out an report to so he could send it out to his district manager. I told him if there was a problem with my car. I was because of what they did I told him that I never had a problem with the car till after 3 months after your guys touched the car.I think its unfair that I have to fix something I didn't break. And have to miss work and be without an car because of them.Desired Settlement: just want them to fix my car. Nothing more

Review: I received a post card in the mail advertising a Free Car Wash with the purchase of a $19.99 Oil Change. When I arrived at the store I was told that the Free Car Wash was only available if I purchased a Synthetic Oil for my oil change at $69.95. When I referred to the post card the technician said that he was told by the owner that the free wash was only available with the additional purchase. So not only couldn't I get a free car wash for a $19.99 oil change, I couldn't even get the oil change for 19.99. I told him to close the hood & I left.

This was a blatant case of "Bait & Switch".Desired Settlement: I'd like to see this advertisement stopped. I'd also like to get a $19.99 oil change and a free car wash.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I have evidence that the coolant flush splash performed can cause my heater core to clog due to the fact that my vehicle is older etc so instead of prolonging the situation I contacted my lawyer .

Sincerely,

Review: I asked how much to change the oil in my wife's Prius and was told $79.95. I said ok and went inside. The price displayed on the wall also said $79.95. When given the bill it was $95.70. I asked why and was told the oil filter was $10.00 extra. I said an oil change always includes the oil filter and I have never paid an additional charge for the oil filter. This is DECEPTIVE advertising.Desired Settlement: They should change the signs to be more explicit and should explain what the charges are BEFORE they do the work.

Review: Dear Sir or Madam,On July 02, 2013 I went to Splash, Bridgeport, CT for a Oil change. The attendant told me that he was unable to change because of a problem in the screw that drains the oil and he said that I need to take my car to a mechanic to fix it. He said that something called butlery was there since the last oil change and they said that I was aware of that because somebody from there had told me about it.I did not of such problem, I dont know anything about butlery, and they made a mistake, because I have been changing the oil for the last 4 times (see attached receipts).I asked for the manager, and the attendant said he was in the corporate meeting, and was going to be there for the next hour, so, he asked my phone (I dont know why, they have my files there) and informed me that the manager called Bubba, was going to call me later in the day, anyway he gave the Oil Change phone number (XXX) XXX-XXXXI tried to call next they, and I left a message, also I called the Car Wash at (XXX) XXX-XXXX and I asked for the Manager, he said the manager was very busy.On 07/05/2013, I called again and the attendant told the manager was not there. So far nobody called.

Review: I went to get my van detailed/ hand washed at the [redacted] car wash located in [redacted] in September of 2014. I always do the hand wash as not to damage my van. The employee got in my van to back it into the garage to do the work. Well he back my van into the building instead. The manager said no problem go get an estimate and we will pay for it. I did that and after he saw how much it was ( close to $2000.00) he suddenly stopped returning my emails and phone calls. I went there a few times but he always seemed to be out. My wife then called the corporate office. The manager returned our phone call and said that corporate needed another estimate. So I went and got a second estimate and emailed it in January 2015. A month goes by and I emailed the manger again. His response was I emailed it to corporate nothing I can do. So again my wife contacted corporate office. We are still waiting for a response. At this point no one is returning our phone calls or emails. This is going on 7 months and I have a van that I purchased only 5 months prior to going to [redacted].Desired Settlement: I want the money to fix my van.
