Review: We contracted with Splash Swimming Pool LLC.'s representative [redacted] on April 20, 2015 to put a fiberglass pool in our backyard, On July 27th we terminated our contract due to a breach of contract and loss of trust. The pool was supposed to be completed by June 20, 2015. He uses stall tactics such as blaming it on the weather or permit process to delay the work. He does not effectively communicate timelines and expectations. We also believe he misrepresented himself as [redacted] and that he's really [redacted] Sr. This raised a red flag because Mr. [redacted] is known for taking fraud and deceptive business practices, for not completing jobs, and for doing shotty work. In addition, this company is not located in Parsippany, NJ. It is located at 26 Freedom Terrace, Easton, PA. The owner/president is noted on the PA license as [redacted] Jr. We are not sure what name is reflected on the NJ business license. We believe Mr. [redacted] Sr. represents himself as [redacted], We wonder if Mr. [redacted] Sr. is not permitted to operate a business in NJ which is why he changed the business location to Pennsylvania but continues to scam innocent people in NJ for their hard earned money. This companies website www.splashswimmingpool.com also reflects an incorrect business address. They are not located in Parsippany, NJ. Our problem is simple. We want our deposit and permit costs refunded because this entire transaction was deceptive and misrepresented.Desired Settlement: We want our $3,000 deposit returned since Mr. [redacted] did not do any work on our property. We also paid $425 for permits for this pool installation. We request he refund us $3,425.00. We will consider not taking further legal or criminal action against this company if our money is refunded.

Review: Business does not exist at this address and carried no insurance. Gave township bogus paperwork. I signed a contract with [redacted] Nov 5 2014 for $69,000 to install an in-ground fiberglass pool, jacuzzi, etc. & gave deposit of $13,800. He claimed that he would be digging the hole and having the pool delivered in January, while I was out of the country, and told me that I had to give him checks ($,8,000 for the digging and $31,000 upon delivery of the pool) for this to happen. I left him post dated checks, he cashed them and didn't dig a hole or install a pool. He had never even got the permit that he claimed to have had! Once the shell of the pool arrived (in May,without any of the other equipment, or correct jacuzzi, etc) he insisted that I immediately pay him another $6,400 for "extra labor and landfill" not specified on the contract plus another $10,000 for "installation" before installation took place. I paid him only the $6,400 and then hired a lawyer when he refused to give me the rest of the equipment or install the pool.Desired Settlement: Complete installation and delivery of ALL OF THE EQUIPMENT for pool, jacuzzi, patio and fencing as specified in the contract WITHOUT ANY FURTHER DELAY for the price quoted in the contract. Provide assurance that pool is being installed correctly, and include basic de-watering feature. Additionally, pay for my attorney's fees. I also need proof of purchase (& warranty into) for all equipment and labor, as one of the subcontractors whom Ed hadn't paid had come to my house threatening to put a lean against it unless he was paid.

Review: I have a written agreement (contract) with Splash Swimming Pool, LLC to finish installing an in ground fiberglass pool, with a complete pool package. The agreement which was sign** on 1/12/15 by the owner ** & shows an agreement to complete installation of the pool including electrical, cement, tiles, waterfall, fencing, installation of the propane heater and carry out all the inspections with the local township. I have reach** out to ** (the owner) a number of times...he would tell me that they would get to me as soon as possible, or say next week we will be doing the electrical....and now, he simply will not answer me at all. Sadly these people are not professionals and don't care that they are leaving victims in their wake.

The company is NOT located at the address that shows in Parsippany, NJ.Desired Settlement: I want them to follow through with the agreement to complete installation of the pool including electrical, cement, tiles, waterfall, fencing, installation of the propane heater and carry out all the inspections with the local township. I will continue to take further actions if I do not hear from them quickly.
