I am rejecting this response because:  Every day, we continue to have grout come out in all areas of the house, traffic and non traffic areas.   If this floor was laid according to "manufacturers recommendations", does that mean the tiles should be moving after 8 months and grout should be coming out day after day.  A 7-10 day job turned into a 45+ day disaster over 4 months.   Had the problems been resolved when they made their final trip, you would have not heard from us.   Unfortunately, the grout that they put in was literally coming out the next day and I will need to hire another company to correct multiple problems in our house.   I trusted that Jeff would stand behind his work.   The decision to have Jeff redo the floor was based on Jeff's assertion that since he was not available as much as he should have been during the 1st installation and he would personally oversee and install the new floor.  Jeff and his company are incapable of doing this type of job and I should not have to go out of pocket to have his mistakes corrected again.  With regards to the appliances, each and every appliance in our kitchen, as well as our kitchen table, had marks and dings from the project.  Additionally, I had to pay a painter 3 different times to complete a job that should have been done once.  I am still requesting a full refund of the $8,000.

There was an $8000 deposit which was paid and we finished the floor. Upon completion there were numberous issues of loose tiles and grout coming up. Myself and the homeowners had a conversation about possible solutions. There were two options (refund the deposit of $8000 or give us an opportunity to...

redo the entire floor). After a short time, they called and said they would like me to redo it. At a cost of $7400 we purchased new tile and underlayment and redid the entire floor. As we were nearing completion we had a discussion about the final payment and I was told "we had no intention of paying you another dime."we finished the floor and everything was installed per manufacturers reccomdation. After that I received a call stating there were some spots of grout that were still coming up. Myself and another employee came and repaired 8 or 9 spots scattered throughout the floor. After that, I asked if we were good and he said yes, shook hands and went on our way. One month later I received a text asking for $3000 for repairs. At that point due to obvious strife I did not respond. We made every effort to repair what we did. There was a small scratch on the oven and a goige in the bottom stair that we repaired but did not stain it to match.
