I purchased a Spa Package certificate (#[redacted]) from Spoiled Rotten Marketing for a local spa. Before I could even use the package, the company went under/changed ownership/restructured or some convoluted mess. Spoiled Rotten Marketing (who would not take my phone call and would only text as a method of communication) did reissue the certificate in the name of the new company who took over the spa (now [redacted]). Unfortunately, the certificate that they reissued to me for the new spa ([redacted]) was NOT for the same services that I originally purchased. My original certificate/package was to have included a massage, facial, etc. The replacement certificate that I received had removed the massage service as part of the package. I find this very deceitful and a poor business practice. Being unable to speak to a live person, I decided to go ahead and use the certificate for what I could have done so I wouldn't have a complete loss of the money I paid. By far, the WORST facial / Spa service I have ever received. The entire time I was at the spa (which by the way is no longer a Spa company as I had originally purchased, instead a plastic surgery and laser center) the staff member who provided the facial complained pretty much through the entire facial about how Spoiled Rotten Marketing sold all of these certificates and [redacted] got stuck honoring them and how they are doing al lservices for free and don't get paid, etc. NOT a relaxing or spa type service!! I didn't even get to receive all of the services I purchased. Out of the 4 services that I purchased, I received a facial. The attitude was such that it is an inconvenience for [redacted] to provide the services for the certificates that Spoiled Rotten Marketing had sold -- very bad customer experience. I feel cheated and defrauded and hope that no one else will purchase any of these certificate packages from Spoiled Rotten Marketing!
I paid for a voucher that I never received. They don't answer the phone or emails.
I think they are a scam.
