Review: Spokane Asphalt in the person of owner [redacted] gave us competitive bid on Aug. 19, 2013 to seal-coat and fill cracks in our asphalt driveway at [redacted].

Work was done and completed on Sept. 9, 2013 and payment of $1600 was made.

In April and May of 2014 we noticed that large areas of the top seal on the north side driveway loop (12' by 20') and in front of the back shop (15 x 15'), were missing.

We contacted Spokane Asphalt and spoke to the secretary and told her our problem. She told us she would let [redacted] know of the problem.

These phone calls continued every two weeks thru the summer of 2014 with no response. We called during the summer so the repairs could be made during warm weather.

In Sept. and Oct. of 2014, our phone calls to Spokane Asphalt increased to every week, with no response. Late in October the secretary told us they would be going out for dinner that night and they would stop by and have a look at the problem. We waited patiently all evening and no one showed up.

We have not heard from Spokane Asphalt at any [redacted]e.

Another asphalt seal-coating company gave us a bid to correct this problem of $1200, but we are hoping that Mr. [redacted] will fix the problem as soon as weather permits.Desired Settlement: We would prefer that Spokane Asphalt repair the problem.

If he refuses to take care of this, we would like a cash refund of $1200 that it will take to repair our driveway.

Review: There are numerous spots on the driveway that became very soft during hot weather and subsequently started to crumble. We have tried for a month and a half to talk with the owner about our concerns. After numerous attempts to contact him by phone and via the company website, we have yet to meet with him. Nothing has been done to address our concerns.Desired Settlement: 1. We would like for the owner to meet with us.2. We would like for Spokane Asphalt to repair the crumbling spots and seal the driveway at their expense and to our satisfaction.3. We would like for the work to be completed this fall, weather permitting.4. If the work cannot be completed this fall, we would like it in writing that Spokane Asphalt will seal the driveway in the Spring, 2014 at their expense.

The contract for [redacted]'s driveway has a term for warranty of one year, unless specifically noted in the contract. Notice of problem spots in driveway was not until 8/15/2013, therefore the warranty has expired.

The slight indentation that is shown in the attached pictures usually occurs when products that contain a tar base are heated and then cooled again. This is typical wear and tear of asphalt. Spokane Asphalt will be
