My complaint was that the disputed charge was not obvious when I made the reservation even thought it was noted in the guest registration forms. It is not appropriate to add a charge after quoting a rate.Sincerely, *** ***

If you feel as though your request to remove the background charge was ignored, it was an administrative oversight on our part. We should have waived it at your request although would have still executed the background check. We have credited your credit card the $27.50. As we are...

This background check is noted on our website, on our marketing emails, our online webchat greeters, and on the first page of the your signed guest registration.
