Best they do is find name addresses old emails addresses I checked myself out and pretty much just basic info nothing to detailed all stuff I couldve found on a regular google search

In an effort to identify a caller, I turned to Spokeo for reverse lookup for a phone number that contacted me Spokeo showed me the carrier and location of the phone number, but blurred the contact information, stating that it would be available upon membership I paid the premium and gave my contact information to join in order to receive this information Upon viewing the results after paying the premium, all of the previously blurred contact information was now listed as "unknown" If I had known that they could not locate this information, I wouldn't have wasted my time or money I'm very disappointed and do not recommend Spokeo for reverse lookup of contact information to anybody else

I paid for a report by address at the initial $price but that just got me to the option to pay more ( I believe additional $if want report)Total ripoff, they advertise full report at one price but once the get your billing information they increase the price of what you already paid for but never received

First of all, how does Revdex.com give Spokeo an A+ rating when the reviews are 100% NEGATIVE?????
I paid for a one time use but Spokeo fraudulently put me on continuing monthly billing The Spokeo phone rep agreed to cancel the monthly 'subscription' but flat out REFUSED to refund the $fraudulently charged! I told him this was no way to treat customers and he finally RELUCTANTLY agreed to refund the $ HOWEVER, he said I would not get the refund until up to days Why should it take so long? They are obviously hoping I will forget about it - but it is on my calendar DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I was looking to find information on a deadbeat customer and tried this service The information was not helpful but at what I thought was supposed to be $.95, it wasn't a big deal I unsubscribed so I thought I was done at $ Two charges of $later, I discovered they had me billed for "friends" which wasn't anything I even knew I was subscribing to I had cancelled my account immediately after searching for information on my deadbeat customer Stay away from this website!

This company's website is very misleadingSpokeo will tell you it has information but of course you have to pay to unlock itIn my experience once you pay the information you receive has been " There is no information available" it's a ripoff

I really think that Spokeo should make it very clear that you will be billed monthly after signing up for a one time use I know I am not the only person who has been confused/tricked by their sign up tactics because I have seen many complaints on many internet sites It is also NOT easy to cancel once you have found that they are billing you monthly If they were a reputable company, they would not use these tactics

Spokeo lists a telephone number for me and family.
I never had this number , have not had [redacted] for years
and have no idea how they get the information

I have a membership for one year, when I Tried to find information about some of my family members just they redirect me to other link in order to pay more. Are they kidding me or What?????

I purchased a one time look up for 95 cent just now and when I finally received the results the only thing I was given was the town the number was listed on, information that can be found anywhere free and quickly. Under all other items, such as name and address and what I really needed it simply had "unknown". So what am I paying for here? NOTHING!!!! And then I come here and learn that Spokeo is charging my friends and neighbors, and probably me starting now, $9.95 a month for an unrequested subscription. Revdex.com needs to investigate this outfit as soon as possible and inform the public of the illegal operation if it in fact exists. And it appears it DOES!

I read the agreement that Spokeo proffered. It was worded to sound like I would get unlimited name/address searched for each month that I signed up for. But it cut me off at 20 searches. Perhaps I didn't read the fine, fine print? I will be requesting a refund for my unused months. If they refuse to do a refund (also in the material I first read was the fact that money could be refunded), I will be filing an official complaint. There are other venues to search for addresses other than Spokeo. They are charging way too much for such a limited number of searches per month. I smell a rat. . . .

The way in which "potential" matches are displayed in response to a basic query is misleading at best. Trying to track down an identity thief, we placed a query with Spokeo via their homepage. The results page seemed to show that there were probable entries matching the information we were looking for. We paid the quarterly amount (3 times the amount quoted, the least you can do) only to continue and be presented with absolutely nothing. Not a thing. I don't mind paying for searches of proprietary databases, but expect some sort of result when the teaser page makes it seem as if that would be the case. When I wrote to Spokeo's customer service reps after canceling the service (no refunds) they were 'kind' enough to put the blame on me - essentially that we should have known that the "60+ databases" they promised to search may end up in nothing despite the teaser results page. Beware prior to purchasing anything from this company.

STAY AWAY!!! FALSE PRICE ADVERTISED. TRIAL SERVICE WITH EXTRA PRODUCTS THAT WILL COST YOU A LOT OF MONEY IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL FOR A POOR SERVICE. ONE TIME SEARCH THAT NEVER SHOWED ME THE NAME OF THE CELL PHONE COST $58.80. LOOK FOR ANOTHER SEARCH COMPANY WITH REAL RESULTS AND UP FRONT PLANS.

This is company is deplorable. I needed just one phone number, which I willingly paid $.95 for. Next thing I know, they are charging me $14.95 for a monthly phone look up subscription and $19.95 for something called a social media service, which I don't even know what that's for. I did not ask nor want either of these two services. When I called to get the charges removed, at first they would only refund $24.92 of the $50 they charged me. After asking to speak to a supervisor, they then upped it to $37.39. I'm supposed to see the refund in 5-7 business days. Hopefully, I will. However, I would like to note their deceptive practices with these unwanted services. I would never use them nor recommend them to anyone.

The company is misleading and charges more than the clear number stated. Read the small print.
Customer service refuses refunding the mislead amount and will "ask a supervisor" then only refund the difference. Its not fair buisness marketing and nithing is transparent for charge totals.

Spokeo will take personal information you provide and use it against you. I thought I was one time accepting to look into a friend's past, She had been a victim of Identity theft. Then Spokeo started abusing me. ^ month subscription? Three years later they charged me for nothing I had asked for. $48.00! Total Scammers. Do not deal with this company. Years after you agrree terms you did not see they will bill the Hell out of you. Cammy, Fraudulent Company. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I had paid for the people search for my brother & Didn't really find nothing on him. Then they charged me $19.95 & I had canceled my order & said they refunded me but I never received my refund from them. So with that being said I would say this company did not hold up to their word..

I payed for a report with a $0.99 trial price got info that was 7 years old, next day cancelled online, got a cancellation confirmantion online, even did it again to make sure. Still billed my credit card some $19.00 (I don't remember I cancelled the card. Well into the following month. So could not have been just a cancellation that didn't make it before billing time.

What a scam.... Searched for a number that called me that I did not recognize. Spokeo website came up, and pretty much said for $1.95, it would tell me the Owner's Full Name, Current Address, Current Location, Family Members & Address History. Didn't think it was possible as I had done a few searches myself, but figured I'd try it, you never know. Of course, it gave me nothing..... I did call them and they gave me a refund, but how many people do not call them? Also, HOW DOES A COMPANY WITH SO MANY COMPLAINTS AND NEGATIVE REVIEWS GET AN A+ ???? Now I am starting to question Revdex.coms methods.....
