You are charged the full membership immediately upon signing up, but that does not include the search rightsYou must pay additional fees for each area you would like to search (address, telephone number, etc.)None of the information we paid for on either search was accurateThe criminal background check was the most innacurate of all the information, yet the most expensive to purchaseUpon requesting a refund, and arguing the reason for one, we were finally told we would be credited our total charge of $(which no results were achieved with), which has still yet to be credited now a week laterI would not recommend this to anyone, take your chances with a Google search instead and you're more likely to uncover more of the information you want

I will be requesting a refund for my unused monthsIf they refuse to do a refund (also in the material I first read was the fact that money could be refunded), I will be filing an official complaintThere are other venues to search for addresses other than SpokeoThey are charging way too much for such a limited number of searches per monthI smell a rat
I purchased a one time look up for cent just now and when I finally received the results the only thing I was given was the town the number was listed on, information that can be found anywhere free and quicklyUnder all other items, such as name and address and what I really needed it simply had "unknown"So what am I paying for here? NOTHING!!!! And then I come here and learn that Spokeo is charging my friends and neighbors, and probably me starting now, $a month for an unrequested subscriptionRevdex.com needs to investigate this outfit as soon as possible and inform the public of the illegal operation if it in fact existsAnd it appears it DOES!

I tried Spokeo on 9/15/as a day trial for $I was just informed by my book keeper that I am being billed $and $each monthI would not mind paying for each time I use it, but was unaware it would automatically enroll me in monthly servicesSo I've paid $90.35+ so far too look up one phone number! No receipt emailed, mailed or texted each month I am a honest person, and am just getting tired of getting taken advantage of! That is the reason I am writing this review, for the next person like me I did contact Spokeo and they said I agreed to the auto renewal I cannot dispute that, I do not remember what all the terms were form back then, when I paid $for that one search Just pay attention to the terms and what you agree to
The way in which "potential" matches are displayed in response to a basic query is misleading at bestTrying to track down an identity thief, we placed a query with Spokeo via their homepageThe results page seemed to show that there were probable entries matching the information we were looking forWe paid the quarterly amount (times the amount quoted, the least you can do) only to continue and be presented with absolutely nothingNot a thingI don't mind paying for searches of proprietary databases, but expect some sort of result when the teaser page makes it seem as if that would be the caseWhen I wrote to Spokeo's customer service reps after canceling the service (no refunds) they were 'kind' enough to put the blame on me - essentially that we should have known that the "60+ databases" they promised to search may end up in nothing despite the teaser results pageBeware prior to purchasing anything from this company
Dishonest, misleading companyYou will be signed up for multiple subscriptions when being lead to believe you're signing up for oneCustomer service has proven this is a scam by the fact that they're unwilling to offer refunds and had never emailed any invoice or billing statementAvoid using this company at all costs!
